It's an experiment to see how well it pans out, it'll likely apply to all costumes in future DOA games. There better be the option to keep it off unlike *cough* Soul Calibur

Neither do I. I'm happy I can have the outfits without the outfit blowing up in the middle of a battle.
I wonder if it goes into a miny cutscene when it rips like in Senran or if they just explode like in soul calibur?

Helena getting Haruka is pretty nice. Also love how the coat will have the lab stuff inside of it too.
Seems like Helena is wearing Haruka's versus series costume instead of her original series costume which means she is likely getting the robot lab coat too

I started watching the anime and I have to say It's actually pretty funny. I like how it laughs at it self and the more ridiculus things in the Senran Kagura world.

I really don't see cutscenes happening. It would be too distracting and bring the fight to an abrupt halt for 3-5 seconds.

But seriously DOA has started doing cut scene attacks anyway and the new guys are obviously abandoning the pretense of a fighter entirely to try to turn DOA into an ecchi game in the vein of SK so I wouldn't be surprised...

I had a feeling someone would bring up Power Blows, but I don't think it's quite the same thing. The player has full control over when and how PB's are used, not so with SK's clothing destruction scenes. They just interrupt the action after a certain number of hits/damage is dealt which would be far more jarring than something either player has direct control over themselves.

Not the same no, but more a sign of things to come, with clothesplosions being the things in case here.
Much like how DOA started out with some sexy outfits, to them now filling the horizon, I am simply saying its not beyond belief for things to escalate from cut scene attacks, to multiple cut scenes and eventually QuickTime events throughout the fights.
I fear for how flanderized doa6 will be, I really do.

I really hope Nyo gets this one. Since they didn't give her a new full face mask for the ninja pack she should at least get this outfit with the hannya mask.
Plus imagine her smacking opponents with that big @ss cleaver. XD
I'm just hoping they don't give her Yumi's which will essentially look like her C1 white recolor.
if they do give her Yumi she better have her hairstyle aswell

You know what? I think TN is going to be lazy with Nyotengu and give her a Yumi costume and it will be her White kimono that she already has slightly altered. That makes me angry because she would look so boss in a Murakumo costume with that awesome mask and ponytail.

Considering that breast motion can be turned off, it seems pretty likely. In this pack, I could see it be tied to one of the undergarment options.
