No need for an apology. I was just offering some clarification. At any rate, I'll have a CE for both systems come Tuesday. It's just nice knowing I could get my fix even if the disc drive dies.

This is really tempting actually. Having had VF5FS on harddisk, I like the ease of gaming without jumping around finding the CD and swapping every time. Yes, part of that is being lazy, but it's especially good for something that has online/multiplayer. Plus loading times might be a lot better (for offline modes at least).

And since the UK will get it a few days later, I could get the US version and play a little earlier. Too bad PSN updates on a Tuesday, so can't pre-load the game or play early Tuesday (I think, since it's not up now, it'll have to wait until the next update).

Pricing is the main issue. If I could get reasonable US PSN cards that deliver digitally, I might be sold. I'm not getting the CE version anyway.

You can get $50 card from bestbuy with the same price even if you are outside US, there's also maximuscards but for a higher price.

I don't have online right now so I have no choice to buy it on the disc. And I rather buy DOA5 on disc because the case looks awesome lol and since DOA5 will be on XBL/PSN pretty soon, that will make things better because you don't have to worry about your copy getting messed up or lost, but unfotunately what if you want to play it at your friends? Unless you don't have no issues bringing your console with you on the go.

I imagine it would be available on PSN around 2-5 PM. I will have gotten my copy by then. If it was available for download at midnight then I might be tempted to DL it instead, since I gameshare with my brothers.

This is a great thing, I bet there are those who benefit from this. I still prefer getting a physical disk whenever possible.

All my thoughts exactly. It's really nice that XBL is getting it so soon after release too. Just three months? It usually takes about a year for some reason.

Have the CE already pre-ordered for 360, but getting the digital DL on the PS3, so that I can practice for tourneys, is a solid idea as well.
