If it's the E3 build, Sarah won't be playable. The version that had Sarah and Bass was not in a state that could be shown to the public.

Well, they should just get organized and say Bayman, Tina, Hitomi and Busa are good so they don't get nerfed because of idiots saying they're "broken" when they don't even know how DOA works.

If they're going to be nerfed, chances are the nerfs have already been put in place or will be before the loc tests. It's already been 3 weeks since E3, and the game will need to go to certification in less than 2 months.

First play test was today and I didn't go, but KoF06 did (thanks for the info!):

He said it was very crowded and you had to get a ticket (and wait to play).
He told me there was about a 2.5 hour wait (and so I didn't go).
Each person got to play about 10 min against the CPU (I don't know if it was possible to play VS each other).
They had sticks but it sounds like you had to stand and use em as there was no place to sit.

Well there are some more in the Tokyo area next weekend, and I have about 4 more chances before they are done, so I may make it to one yet.
