Here comes a brand new trailer for Dead or Alive 5, revealing Tag Mode in action for the very first time. The new trailer makes a debut of La Mariposa (Lisa) and Jann Lee, along with Tina, Sarah, Bass, Lei Fang, Kokoro, Akira, Rig and Hitomi.

There are several pictures on Team Ninja's facebook site that show them from different angles. I'm glad the Japanese garden is a tag stage and Bass looks awesome in the luchador outfit.

But well, This trailer was amazi~ng.

And Have to admit, Me likes new Jann Lee. The voice and the new physics.

I love the new tag throws.
Rigs air throw looks so amazing.
I have to admit, Tag power blows kinda look ... meh .. The LeiFang/Hitomi last power blow was really dumb ..

But otherwise ... I LOVE this ... This is what they need to showcase more to counter the Tekken trailers...

Nice, they've kept Bass's launching kick, and I was a bit thrown off by the lack of bounce on Lee's punch, but it looks wicked nonetheless.
Nice playable reveals of Lee and Lisa though, good stuff!

I actually like that sit down stun better, if they can't counter out of it.

It makes it more difficult in Tag to struggle out of it as a partner tagging in can come in on the hit frame. This makes it easier for more options to be provided out of the sit-down stun as the tagging in opponent isn't held back by the tagging out opponent's recovery from the move that put the opponent into sit-down.

Yeah the Tag PB look crap .. like they slow the pace of the fight .. its too long and anti climactic...

You're not gonna use them very often anyway, if both fighters need to be below the 50% mark. Some tag throw animations are just as annoyingly long. I never really got into tag all that much, but were the tag throws 5 frames,too?

Tag is mostly fluff for me anyway, generally only comes up when hanging out casually with friends. So as long as they keep the special tag throws I'll deal with bland PBs.
