I don't think there's anything wrong with the sexualisation on DOA. You don't want every fighting game to look the same. And it's the sexualisation that makes DOA unique. It makes me mad that people can get offended by sexualisation in videogames but think it's ok to carry guns to school and shoot people/hate on other races. All I'm saying is, there's more important stuff happening in the world to concern ourselves with and to get angry at.

Better net code is of course great. It's a given actually. We shouldn't even have to ask for it. It should have been present in DOA 5 vanilla.
I don't think anybody thinks that it's fine to kill people, or be racist.'

We don't want sexualisation gone, we just want it toned down. Like less fetish DLCs and Swimsuit Copy and Pastes. More, you know, good normal ones. Like, Lisa and Rachel (and other characters) need a new costume, that's not Halloween.

I want Casual Pack Vol.3 to come out.

Netcode needs fixing, like a lot. I got a 1-bar connection against a friend who lives 4 miles away. wut.

I hate tom lee's excuse, "japanese are the biggest consumers of sexualization" like is that really the image you want for the series? yes sex sells but you know what else does... a good fucking game smh.

There's a point when it gets TOO much though, DOA5 past that line back in january when they released the gravures.
Nobody is arguing that DOA shouldn't be sexualised or atleast not for the most part, it's just been over done and there's not alot of non fetish/swimsuit dlc being released in between. The halloween pack is the first dlc that had actual costumes in it for all the roster minus alpha since last december!!

DOA5 is literally the only game that has this much sexualisation in it DOA3 DOA4 and DOAD had no sexualiusation in it at all it had a few goofy costumes like a maid or whatever for a select handful and that was it not like DOA5 where half the costume count is swimsuits and fetish wear for Kasumi etc.

Sadly, while i was at casuals we somehow got into a conversation of how japanese people are too into fetishes and someone ended up saying to me

"Well, it sucks that you're a doa player because they added all of those stuff nobody will take the game seriously or even want to try it"

this was also coming from a seasoned virtua fighter player

Someone had to speak up... and if u want what's best for this games future I suggest you retweet me.

I got the Japanese players to finally speak their minds too...
What do they think? I'm curious to if our opinions are the same.

Wrong.. theres everything wrong with it.
There's is a big difference between being sexy (as it was back in the older DOA days) and being flat out erotic soft porn.

The company maybe making money but we as an FGC are being looked at as idiots and fools.

This over sexualization is also what is scaring off a lot of players that would want to play the game..

For fucks sake.. were buying the same game for the 3rd time and there's no clear promise of a better netcode .. just more tits and ass.

The games fucking deep.. really deep.. but if the company itself doesn't showcase this .. there is no chance in hell any new players will join

the really sad part?

They try so hard to be "sexy" to capitalize on "sex sells".....but other fighters are already naturally WAY more sexualized without having to release constant fetish packs (KoF, SC, SG, etc)

DOA is just so damn tame in comparison to other fighters that all these attempts to sexualize it are just embarrassing. its like seeing a tween try to imitate bootyshaking. Just.....stop.
i demand a sexy pants dlc

I'm for it.

sexy baggy pants dlc.

I honestly don't know why "we" want any more costumes to begin with... even the males have at least 7 outfits, most of them 10+... that is more than any previous DoA game.
And Ayane has at least 37 Outfits when LR drops...

Dunno... "not even want to try the game cuz of the DLC" seems like a pretty lame excuse imo, there are more than enough non-fetish outfits to choose from (and most of the tournament players pick those)... don't think many people refuse to give Tekken/SC/VF a chance because you can create incredibly crappy (and offensive) outfits with the char editor (which is just as optional as the DoA fetish DLC...)
Most of the "aggressive" marketing seems to be Japan only anyway. The "western" page for Last Round does not mention the soft engine at all, nor did Tom Lee in any of the interviews... or at least I can't remember...
