Ni-Oh?! I would love it if TN decided to revisit this game and release on the PS4. Sad that it got canceled, but now would be the perfect time to port it to next gen. TN could use a new IP.

Ironic because this thread initially had nothing to do with him.

Lol it is weird. XD I have a PS4 and would love DOA5U on it and when I clicked the thread saw my name was tagged, checked my alerts, and nothing was there.

What bothers me is that i'm considering a PS3 purchase mainly to play DoA5U, and if they phase out the game (by making it incompatible with PS3 version [which i would expect them to do as a semi-wise business decision]), my purchase is pointless. Fortunately, if they do, they would at least give a certain amount of notice to hype it up, i assume.

I'd hold off personally, the arcade version is running on hardware that can easily be ported to PS4. But nothing's for certain, it's a question of whether TN is willing to polish up the graphics to PS4 standards.

Even if it does come to ps4, I still wouldn't get one as the playerbase wouldn't be big at all with everyone already on 360 and ps3.

I'd buy the game to support TN but I wouldn't buy a PS4 to play it on. Prefer my Xbox One. As improved as the DS4 is I still hate the Sony dpad design.

As long as you already have the game on PS3, Xbox 360, or both, you are well within your right to not purchase a PS4 solely for the purpose of getting DOA5U(A) I suppose. I agree about the Xbox One controller, it is definitely something special, I hope that an adapter gets made that allows me to play PS4 games with an Xbox One controller, not that the DS4 is bad it is just that the Xbox One controller is so much better.

Where are these players you speak of? lol Last time I tried to play online I got 2 matches in 30 minutes. In Tekken Revolution it never takes longer than 1 minute to find someone

If you have the money to buy a ps3 and doa5u then I'd personally do that
Ps3 and Ps4 can play games with each other online, so it is very likely that the doa series (Which has crossplay already between ps3 and vita) will be alright for the going into the future.

Why wait to play doa? Its not even garunteed theyre bringing it to ps4 (Personally I think they wont)

That's the direction i'm moving right now, but i didn't know they dared make crossplay.

I think DOA5U is fine on both the 360 and PS3. If there is ever going to be a PS4 or XBO release, it should be a sequel. If anything, a PC port would be great.

I'm not sure whether i want a PC port or not, seeing as i'm a linux user. Now, if steam's OS kicks off, then we'll be looking at a much, much brighter future in gaming.
