James Chen's comments are very important for DOA. Basically, he says that what the guys did for the ST Revival and the Tournament of Legends is the template for those who want to bring their games and their communities back up to the spotlight.

I watched most of AE, most of Marvel, bits of MK, bits of VF, and the ST Top 8. Lots of cool matches all around, and A LOT of hype upsets!

A few highlights to me, so far, are:

  • PL has a good shot at repeating as EVO Champ, qualifying for MK Top 8 in Winners
  • Shironuko, AMAZING El Blaze player in VF
  • Shironuko vs Kamaage (VF5FS - EPIC Blaze vs Akira match!)
  • Daigo vs GamerBee (AE)
  • Dieminion vs Fuudo (AE)
  • HumanBomb vs Poongko (AE)
  • Mame Spider vs Clockwork (UMvC3 - Mame Spider brings the HYPE with Spider-Man on point!)
  • TA Frutsy (UMvC3 - Mexican Marvel player making Top 8 with a MODOK/C.America team!!)

It wasn't a main game, but they had a side tournament for it. There was also BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Melty Blood, and Persona 4 Arena.



BTW, Poongko has ALREADY been GIFed!!! lol

Ive watched all of the VF5 tourney, waiting for the top 3 today. And, Ive watched some of the SCV. Which makes me wonder... Why Does SCV have 30,000 viewers while VF5 FS had 3,000... This made me sad.

Did anyone who watched the VF stuff hear that death scream by Zerochan when she got eliminated? It was insane.

And, I screamed the same when Kayane got eliminated from SCV... Ive become a fan after her DOA5 play.

Yeah Perfect Legend dominates in MK9. Will he dominate in DOA5? well Idk. (Perfect Legend does play DOA)
