As I've mentioned, I already have a room for the whole event. That said, I'll be getting in Thursday and not leaving til Tuesday, so I'll have about a full day and a half where EVO simply isn't happening. Wouldn't mind meeting up.

So you want to do the side tournament in the BYOC section?

Largely depends on if I'm judging again, honestly. As we get closer I'll be able to figure out how many people are coming from the community and that'll help. If I judge it eats up a good portion of Friday and Saturday.

Well I'll start asking for people that want in when we get closer lol. Bit early to be making preparations at this point. Good that there's interest already, though.

UPDATE: EVO has now put up the judges application and I applied again. Anybody else going for it? If I get it, I won't be able to run a side tournament but I will probably still host it. Just would need somebody else to run brackets for it.

Anyway, who's gonna be going? Anyone for sure yet? Pacific Rim opens Friday night so if anybody (especially locals) is also up for going to see the movie, get at me. I also may or may not have some room available in my room at the venue and it should be pretty cheap for you and fair for me. Let me know here or via PM.

I'm trying to go to EVO this year. I'm terrible at the game so I'm probably not useful as a tourney participant, but who knows? I just want a DOA tourney to happen in Vegas during EVO. Anyway I can help?

Don't wanna bring your system to Vegas? Death has you covered with every possibly version of every DOA game on every console, with every console and four controllers with each console.

Except for DOA5 on PS3. The seven year hiatus does a great job of highlighting what I had before the recession, and after.

Double posting just to bump this. I won't be attending EVO unfortunately any longer due to some pretty ridiculous flights. Going to Summer Jam 7 as well as TFC in place of it.
