Yes, I'd be excited for the fact that DOA5 even crossed their mind in these 7 years. I've been waiting so long for DOA5. I don't play any other fighters, other than MK and I play that JUST for fun, not seriously. DOA is the only game I take somewhat serious and actually TRY to be good at.

My hypeness is toning down, but deep inside, im very excited and I can wait to put a can of whoop ass with Hitomi & Jann Lee when its released.

Maybe someone can make fighting game with character named Aneleh/Elena and make her top tier with what you want out of Helena.
Can add Ninja's etc in game too and make everyone low tier that is not Helena clone.
Can make characters look like team Ninja members too , if you still hold a grudge against them.

I bet I would because I would not know how much better the new character models look. I don't care much about powerblows or cliffhangers. Would hardly be a deal breaker, even if they were removed now.

I have nothing aginst DOA4 or DOA5, nor am I trying to scare anyone away from the game. Yes, Helena being weakened for false reasons hurts her fanbase, but right that can still be changed/in the process of changing as we speak.
Yes, I'm very excited for the game. I really, really, REALLY hope it becomes a serious game at fighting game tournaments for years to come. Otherwise it'll just become another waste. It'll still be fun online, but it's pretty lame when the fighting game you're most into has no real scene behind it, and no one cares.

As an Ayane player, and dealing with that nice happy nerf bat that made my character ordinary, I thought I was a whiner, but good god, the Helena players...
