It's a great move, that's going to happen with any character that has a crazy move. The Kick didn't get "nerfed" it just went back to its old notation and properties. Most likely because of TN coming to D.I.D. 7 and being shocked to see people playing DOA3.1.

This move as Keylay stated has been there since DOA2. In DOA4 you could only do it in a string: PP6KK.

Yes, I am pretty sure you've watched it already. But that's what these matches were, casuals before the tournament.

I'd still be excited for it, definitely. I've always been excited for every new DOA iteration, even though we've essentially had the same character models (albeit slightly improved) for well over a decade and the same core gameplay right the way through from DOA2 - DOA4.
