I'm so in love with the creature design in this game. *Q*
I also like this kind of adamantoise much more than the XIII one:

They did look kinda weird. Is this baggage on it's shell? And then that saddle. Who the hell rides these? XD

The FFXV ones however look absolutely real:

I like the way that the creatures feel like a natural part of the world in this game like in witcher 3 and not like in XIII where they don't quite fit.

Since Hot Ryu and Gladio are there to cater to gay men and women and supposedly straight males pose as the object, that's seen as perfectly fine, even progressive and as a contribution to equality.

Yeah... that's not equality though... because Cindy is STILL being singled out and picked on.

Equality would be that they both designed sexually and nobody care, but people DO care. Too much double standards, if its fine for a male to dress skimpy in games it shouldn't matter if the girl is skimpy.

As long as the fan service is in context, theres no reason to pop off its only if the fan service is just there for the sake of fan service should there really be a problem.

Im all for feminism but sometimes it goes too far lol Cindys design isn't even that bad, its not lije shes just wearing a jacket and panties

Really impressive. Sometimes I would even go as far as saying, if everything is so huge and impressive and polished, I might even turn a blind eye to the probably poor IQ of the game on release. (I definitely think the consoles will be at their very limit with this game.) I did so with Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii too. The game's IQ and textures and character models were all pretty fugly, but the art and whole vision of it all made me look past that pretty easily. Today it is still one of the most beautiful games to me.

Meh, I've lost all interest in XV and have cancelled my preorder.

I'll probably just pick it up in a sale or something at a later time, XV looks to dull.

Story isn't interesting, characters aren't interesting, and gameplay from what ive played is too simple and easy. Not worth the £40 - £55

Actually only twice, and its true. The game isn't interesting at all. It has decent graphics and thats literally it.

I won't be surprised if XV doesn't live up to the hype at all, name ONE thing that excites you about XV that isn't the art style or graphics.

A beautiful fantasy world that is (almost) freely explorable by foot, chocobo, in the car, by train, on a ship and even by airship and is multiple times as big as The Witcher 3 world or GTA5. More?

I'm really surprised at some of the reactions to the me because I think it looks incredible and I'm so excited to see it! I was never a fan of the series until I started learning stuff about this game and then decided to finally get into it with FFXIII so it has a big part in me being interested in the series. Also it has what looks like one of the most expansive worlds that's hopefully in depth, add to that the interesting looking story and characters and great graphics and I'm excited!

So pretty much nothing about the game itself, just the world pretty much.

Imo that isn't saying much, I LOVE XIII's world and lore but, XIII is a bad game.

It has a cool and strategic battle system that's poorly executed, lame characters that have almost zero development(including my beloved Lightning) and subpar enemies. A world alone won't save XV if the gameplay, bosses, characters and story aren't up to par.

Even everyone's favourite VII has major flaws by having a boring story that kinda just happens with almost no explanation and terrible characters. Cloud is barely even likable and the only main character thats even close to interesting is Tifa

I'm actually interested in the story and characters though personally though I can see why some people wouldn't be, I enjoyed XIII as well. ( though maybe it would have been different if I was a fan before and I'd played it when it first came out )

The gameplay I was crap at in the demo so I'll have to get better at that but the bosses seem cool from what we've seen like the Dragoon woman.

Firstly, Mr. Grump, you asked about ONE thing and I answered with one thing. And secondly, the huge open world that this Final Final Fantasy, as the first non MMO Final Fantasy, is build around and that took ages to plan and realize, is a pretty big deal. Saying that world is "nothing about the game itself" is laughable. The world "Eos" is Final Fantasy XV. That's saying you don't need the world of Witcher 3 or no Los Santos in GTA5.
@Jadeinchains, what do you think, would The Witcher 3 work without it's world?

But what I mean, is you're not playing FFXV for the reasons most FF fans are playing FFXV for. Which is the story, characters, gameplay etc. You just want to explore the world.

And thats my point about XV exactly almost nobody except Jade in this thread even seems to care about the story or characters, they're that forgettable and bland.

Plus, you even showed proof that the translation almost butchers the scene where Noctis hears about the fall of the kingdom and his fathers death. So, just imagine how the whole thing will play out.

That stuff is what makes Final Fantasy imo, personally, I'd say the best FF in recent years to have good characters, world and a somewhat decent story is probably X.

But only X, X2 and the audio drama kinda ruin that lol

Wrong again. I do care very much about the story (if you had asked for more than one thing I woud have mentioned that next) and I do think it has the potential to be pretty good. There were some leaks...which I didn't fully indulge in though...but what I read and what others discussed sounded actually pretty rad. This game's story will be deep, dramatic and pretty dark. It draws heavy inspiration on Hamlet and the Norse Völsunga and Edda saga. And I do think characters like Luna, Regis and Ardyn will be some of the most fleshed out and strongest characters that we've seen in a FF yet.

The fact that I was so upset about the translation butchering should have actually shown you, that I do care.

Well I have to admit, my biggest problem with XV's story is ditching the Fabula Nova Chrysalis saga....

There's now a plot hole on what actually happened to Etro and why she disappears/dies, it was heavily hinted that the woman on the logo was supposedly Etro meaning XV was supposed to tell her story.

But, I guess that will never happen now. And what I've seen so far isn't nearly as interesting, I can barely even recall what its even supposed to be about its that forgettable. The only thing I can recall is Regis dies and Noctis and the Bro Club go on a road trip to see Luna who hes supposed to marry.

Yeah I actually really enjoyed the world of Spira in X it was really interesting the sort of things that the world had. There was some ups and downs here and there though like Tidus acting annoying at times but I still liked every character. ( the fashion of Spira was strange at times though mainly Seymour )

And yeah I'm not sure how I feel about the stories of both of the games being completely ruined and made pointless by the audio drama...

I've not read any spoilers so I'll probably stay away from that, But yeah I'm excited for the characters, story and world of Final Fantasy XV. I'm definitely going to be exploring every place I find, I just hope it has a history and mythology the same way that witcher 3 has.
