An interesting new piece of information about the game's story/lore makes the rounds. It apparently isn't mentioned in every localisation of the game but for example in the German one. There it is explained what's up with the iconic Duscaen meteor crater and Titan holding it up:
This very meteor was actually the source of the first Starscourge that Ifrit brought down onto earth. Now it makes sense why Titan is beneath it and holding it up all this time. As one of the gods more fond of humans, he saved them from complete annihilation by catching it and holding it up to prevent further contamination.
The glowing particles we see rising up in the air and the many NPCs mentioning how scorching hot it and the entire region has become, is the source and indiction of the arrival of the new Starscourge.
This makes sense. If Ifrit is also involved, now it makes even more sense.
Ifrit as far as I remember in regards to text/lore/dialogue of past FFs, has always been one to be passive-aggressive or overly aggressive to humans because he finds himself in suspicion towards them, claim they are weak or lack of faith to them, or considers them evil due to past events of humans. In fact, he probably finds humans plain annoying in general and will not feel any sympathy if they were no longer on the ground. Ifrit, Leviathan, and many other summons were once used as tools of war for evil so they likely had bad experiences with people/summoners and chose to avoid dealing with drama from people. Even though Ifrit was one of the earlier summons in the past, he was one of the summons that needed some type of convincing or proof from a hero that takes their role seriously.(well depending on which FFs, some just join out the blue). In FFXV so far he seems to retain some of that and fought the party near the end of the game. Odd to see it there happening and I still believe that was far too late and rushed.
If that first event with the meteor was Ifrit, I can see why.
This stuff is already in out inventory right? How are you guys liking the accessories so far from the Holiday pack? - So far, I've been taking a liking to the ring that prevents friendly damage from magic and bonus AP from the rings for having A+ on Offense and Finess or Time.
I got that fishing level to 10 (FINALLY) and platinum'd the game!!! Also started a NG+ xD
Happy Holidays!!! c:
Yeah, I'm supposed to get it tomorrow as my Christmas gift from mom...it's not set in stone though because of that argument we had, but I talked her down so I should be fine. I'll also of course get the SP if I have enough on me when we go to the mall so I will be all set when the game is finally in my hands~@KasumiLover69 are you in that risque avatar contest again? Also I hope they aren't glued on or they are gonna be a bitch and a half to get off!
Do you plan on getting FFXV soon? Also people have been saying the first episode could be within 3 months... Even that sounds a bit long of a wait though for just the first one.
I definitely am. The characters (most of them) draw me in to the game. It looks beautiful, and from what I've seen the combat looks fun.Do you plan on getting FFXV soon?
