The upcoming FFXV Power Rangers suits are actually "Magitek Exosuits" and they will make you invincible.

I guess, Noctis is red, Gladio black, Ignis blue and Prompto yellow?

Considering the new game plus and these suits, it clearly doesn't cross Square Enix's mind that many players actually don't want the game to be even easier (Carbuncle in easy mode already makes sure you can't die) but more challenging. :/
This looks so...dumb lol

Yeah If It mean't something before it certainly doesn't mean much now. It's used for pretty much anything on and offline. I'm still living for Carbuncle quoting drag speak though.

this is why this game lacks a story and has trash gameplay it's cause they were planning this nonsense

The gameplay is pretty good actually, some minor AI adjustments should be in play (imo) but still tolerable to accomplish the game. Though the story is not what some of us expected, even the length of it all was surprisingly short. Characters were cut, scenes were cut, some initial depth was cut etc etc.

Now if I had an orange... I was only able to get the peels of it and half of what's inside, the other half was taken by someone because they wanted us to pay for it (technically speaking) to get the whole entire orange as intended. Course, I am willing to be gullible and naive just this once so I'm giving the game a bit of chance when all the updates are fully enabled on FFXV. I'll wait it out a bit but I can understand some frustration to it.

Indeed.

Doesn't Square Enix realize Power Rangers traditionally consist of a party of five? Or were they originally going to make Ninja Turtle costumes, realize the similarities would be way too obvious, and changed at the last minute?

Either way, it wasn't that hard to give Iris the Pink Ranger costume. As much as I dislike the kid, there are plenty of fans that do, and she's Raphael-- I mean, Gladio's little sister... she at least deserves that much.

Alright, the ATR already finished. Some cool news of what's coming soon:

- 60 fps Pro patch will come February 21st.
- Booster pack with new weapons and invincible Magitek Exosuits is free
- You will be able to listen to the radio while riding on chocobos
- Regalia will be able to drive off road
- level cap raised to 120
- photos cap raised to 200
- time limited hunts
- Gladio DLC will focus on combat but will also improve the story
- Prompto DLC will mainly focus on character development and story

They also showed some Gladio DLC footage. Once we get direct feed footage I'll share it here. :)

Edit:
The Magitek Exosuits will be delayed. Fans and the Power Ranger's rights holder pointed out that they looked to close to Power Rangers suits. The designs will now be revised. XD

Damnit! I didn't see the active time report I'll watch it back though. The news sounds great! I wonder why they increased the level cap but I'm okay with it. Also cool with the timed hunts since I've already finished every hunt so they won't be in the way.

Also what? The regalia can drive off road? Like just anywhere? Also I'm fine with free content so when ever this comes out I'm happy.

Quite odd raising the level cap to 120 when the game hasn't been exactly too hard around 99, but then again this can be useful along with those Exosuits to farm against MAX-Angelus who drops the Magitek accessory V2, which is the best accessory in the entire game. Having 3 makes you close to omnipotent. Now we just have to wait.

Speaking of which, @Crazy_Chin_Guy Ayye lmao:

Dissidia Arcade Update:

If you thought the 30th anniversary opening ceremony was disappointing...

http://www.dualshockers.com/2017/02...soles-will-story-mode-still-not-ready-reveal/

The latest issue of (Famitsu) Weekly included an interview to Dissidia Final Fantasy Producer Ichiro Hazama and Director Takeo Kujiraoka, including an update on the status of the console port of the game.

Hazama-san mentioned that the game did not appear at the Final Fantasy 30th anniversary opening ceremony event in Tokyo because the console version is not ready to be revealed yet in a form that would meet the expectations of the fans.

According to Hazama-san, many fans expect a story mode in the console version of the game, and it’s being worked on, even if the main part of the game will remain battle. In order to further enhance other factors, it will take some more time for the console version to come.

He also apologized since a year from the release of the arcade version the home console version still isn’t ready, and we’re entering the second year without a reveal, but he’ll keep doing his best towards the goal.

Interestingly, Kujiraoka-san also hinted to possible plans for the game to make a worldwide eSports debut, even if nothing can be announced for now.

Funnily, the interviewer asked about an earlier mention by Kujiraoka-san about the possibility of implementing Team Ninja’s “Soft Engine” (which is used in the Dead or Alive series to simulate the softness of certain body parts).

To that, Hazama-san wondered if the Soft Engine is really needed for the current line-up of characters, and Kujiraoka-san responded “Maybe for Kuja’s butt?”

Dissidia Final Fantasy has been developed in collaboration between Team Ninja and Square Enix, and is currently available exclusively in Japan as an arcade game. It actually sparked a quite lively competitive scene locally, and game centers in major Japanese cities often host popular tournaments and competitions.

That said, at the heart of the system there isn’t a standard arcade board, but a board based on PS4 technology, which should make the technical part of porting the game to consoles relatively easy.

Hopefully, we’ll hear more about that soon, but for now all we can do is to wait and see.

Granted, it's nice that story mode is confirmed and they're still moving forward with a push to eSports, but the wait for a reveal - especially after all this hype for the 30th anniversary celebration resulting in a lackluster of a show in the opening ceremony - is daunting to say the least.

Also, lol @ Soft Engine joke for Dissidia.
