Oh god if what evers in there is much tougher than flux then I think I'm doomed!
Flux is that guardian with the big wings right? That one was kinda stupid with haste and curaga so you had to kill it quick as possible or your chances of winning went down considerably.

Flux was the third battle with Seymour. He kept using total annihilation on me so I made Yuna use all her aeons special moves on it.

Oh :x Well. Be prepared to kill the next thing fast as you can. Keep your overdrives filled because its attacks do the status effect that stops them from increasing iirc. Hastega is also important to have

Okay I'll keep all that in mind. I've stopped playing it right now cause its so late here but hopefully I can complete the game tomorrow if it isn't ridiculously hard.

Jesus Christ! Screw this boss to hell and back! I've been stuck on Overdrive Sin fornso long and I think I'll have to go get everyone's celestial weapons if I want to complete this game. Its actually been really great so far obviously there's things that I miss from XIII but there's also things that I think this game has done better. ( what comes to mind is Shiva's design because she looks so much better in X. )

Here's a hint: if you don't care about XP distribution, find Anima, load her and Yuna's Overdrive. Proceed to double up Oblivions on the poor shmuck.

If you do care... I got nothing.

*faints*
I managed to get past by spamming Yuna's holy spell! Thanks for the tips though.

I came into the sin fights OP as hell doing like 25k+ per hit. Now I could probably blow through to the ending real quick doing 99k with everyone (except Wakka...hate blitzball too much to get his celestial weapon)

@Jadeinchains did you get any of the hidden aeons? The magus sisters are op as hell with Sandy doing 99k even at like a 130 strength stat for Yuna. Though the more aeons you get the harder the ending is.

I have no extra aeons and only have Tidus' celestial weapon with no upgrade! I'm praying I can get through and complete this game. ( tonight hopefully! )

I defeated Seymour!!!! Bye Bitch!

Seriously thank God Yuna finally sent him. I beat him on my second go because I didn't know he'd use Ultima. I might just be comparing things where there doesn't have to be. But Seymour to me seemed like the Barthandelus of this game. ( And that isn't a bad thing. )

Edit : Sorry for double posting I'm just excited!

and thats where my game ended. i was never able to defeat Seymours last form since i was severely under-leveled by the time got to him and couldn't bring myself to grind that much to get the abilities i needed.

oh well at least im making good progress in FF9, and by progress mean i could go back to the game and NOT have to completely restart because i forgot everything. never mind the fact i haven't touched it in a few months.

Yeah when I got to Seymour's third form I seriously considered just moving on to X-2 and counting my loses. I'm still not sure if I will be able to beat the game though or if I'll have to stop.

But it's so ridiculously easy to get sphere levels with the tonberry and cactuar tricks. With one fight with the monster arena don tonberry I can get like 60+ levels with the right equipment. The monster arena cactuar that does 99999 needles is a bit more unreliable tho because it targets at random and does 10000 needles too. Then another monster in the arena can give you like 40 of any sphere (except luck) you need to activate stat nodes with the right distiller as you start to run out of them from leveling so quick.

Seymour's last form is the easiest, just let Yuna do NulBlaze/Schock/Tide/Frost and you've pretty much won. The first time i just did Valefor's second overdrive and he died (i had spent time leveling though). The epic music that plays is not worth it lol.

yeah it would be pretty easy to beat RPGs if i followed a guide too, but thats just now how i play.

So instead you put the controller down and ejected the disc, never to play it again.

Hell even the omega dungeon is pretty easy to level in the orthodox way if a marlboro doesn't pop up and ruin your day. But I guess you'd probably need to resort to using a guide to find it.

no i got frustrated, put it down for a bit, and forgot about it. and when you go back after months the first thing you dont want to fight is the hardest boss you've faced so far in the game.
