Apparently you can get a free 14 day trial for Final Fantasy XIV so considering I'm done with all the other stuff and its free I might as well try it out.
Have fun with the download. I probably wouldn't have bought it had I not spent literally an entire day trying to download it. I'd play it more but I'm waiting to pick up a USB keyboard it's serviceable with a remote but I can't communicate quick with a pad and it's making party's and stuff like that difficult.
It has a really cool guild system where you'll typically be picked up almost immediately by friendly people.

You actually posted that just as it finished downloading! It took a little over 2 hours but I can now play it.
You still gotta do the updates don't you?
that's honestly what took me so long, if I let it sleep durring the process it stopped so I had to sit there all morning making sure it didn't by pumping the controller.

Strange the updates only took a couple minutes I think. Maybe not but its playing the intro just now.
I can relate though to the having to stay up all night downloading something because of the Wii u at launch.

While playing through the 13 trilogy the music really stood out to me for how varied and blood pumping it was. There wasn't a single piece of music that I didn't like ( excluding mad Chocobo cause that's kinda crazy )

Dust to Dust and Sulyaa Springs are my faves from XIII beutiful pieces of music.

I just listened to them again to get a recap and they really are great.
Pretty much everyone in the comments are saying the same thing that no matter what your view on the games are there music is amazing regardless.

Yeah I loved how they brought back so much of the music from the past two games. It was a great send off to the trilogy.

Hearing Dust to Dust in the final dungeon on the 14th day to get the Ultima Sword/Shield was awesome.

The big thing is that mages aren't as good as they used to be in terms of close range defense. Right now if they are rushed down they are pretty much free kills. (That or due to the patch changes mages are about to be overused and will be consequently nerfed. Think Rachel's stomp if it were buffed to Ultimate unpatched status).
Alternate costumes are also on the way in the form of palette swaps for most of the cast.

My favourite tracks from the XIII trilogy are :
XIII - Blinded By Light/Saber's Edge
XIII-2 - Last Hunter
LR - The Savior, it's a shame that you can only listen the first 10~20 seconds of this during gameplay due to the weak Wildlands monsters, especially those stupid blue flans lol.
Also, i've completed Type-0's story (i loved so much the puzzles of the last dungeon), the tracks are quite good, not as good as other FFs though, my favourite track is the battle theme of the last dungeon, which is really fitting.
So far, FFXV tracks are promising, i'm hoping for really good ones, and they better add overworld music xD
