From what we've heard the dlc is going to be great, if theres clothing options in the game from the start then I'll be happy but it will definitely be appreciated if they add more as dlc. I'm guessing they'll be dedicated clothing stores so the cities have more enterable locations in them.

I also like the idea of like 2 months after the games release and everyone's completed the main story a new dlc story is added, I think they said you can continue playing the game after the story's completed and continue in the game world doing side quests etc so it would make sense for them to add in dlc monster hunts or entire new stories. ( though obviously not as long as the main quest )

And yeah I hope you can customize the car, so maybe there will be garages in the cities where mechanics can customize your car for gil?

Some more new combat and magic gameplay of FFXV:

Wow, some of the monsters/enemies are so cool and so are the magic and weather effects. :D

Hallelujah! Square Enix finally released a direct feed version of the environment trailer that was shown during the Uncovered event. It was about time. XD

It looks gorgeous...though the cities don't quite match The Witcher 3's detail and lifelike-ness (wouldn't you agree @Jadeinchains?). Altissia feels beautiful but dead. Also, is that the Final Fantasy prelude playing? Love it like this! *__*

That trailer was beautiful, and yeah Novigrad is amazing and when I was playing it a couple of days ago I noticed that the transition from the lower class area to upper class is amazing fluid!

I have to say looks wise I prefer FFXV's cities, although they definitely need a LOT more citizens to feel as lived in as The Witcher 3's.

I also prefer the look or style of the Final Fantasy XV cities (The Witcher 3 cities are a bit too generic medieval) . The FFXV cities seem so far too clean, sterile and life-less to me though. But they are clearly not even finished. So, let's see how they turn out in the final game. :)
But I have to admit I've grown a bit pessimistic regarding the game's graphical abilities. The Luminous engine seems to really struggle on consoles and with what they are trying to go for. I know the developers are giving it their very best but I doubt the game will look and run nearly as clean as for example the Witcher 3 on consoles. I'm really worried. :/

I don't think you should be worried, I'm going to hope for the most from Square Enix after hoew many years this games took they will surely try their absolute hardest to make it as good as possible. In one of those scenes we see that there is a street filled with people so hopefully a lot of the city can be like that.

My biggest worry is that with the PS4Neo on the horizon (it falls exactly on the release of FFXV) they will just significantly downgrade the graphics after all their struggling to make the game run smooth on the regular consoles and then just optimize the PS4Neo version too look as it was intended to be. One pretty version will be out there to promote the game, that's all Square Enix really needs.

I don't really see them doing that, I think Square will try there hardest to make it as beautiful as they possibly can on ps4. I don't think they'd downgrade it, I could see like a year later a port to ps4neo though making use of it but I don't think they'd downgrade the main one.

Beautiful time lapse of Hammerhead Gas Station:

With just 7 cars driving by in 24 hours and none of them stopping, I wonder how they stay in business. XD

That was gorgeous!

... Also I'm just going to forget the imagery of Cindy having a "night job".

For the heads up everyone, this was a surprise for me. The English release of Kingsglaive film upcoming September for the character Lunafreya Nox Fleuret will be voiced by Lena Headey. Lena Headey by the way, is the actress playing Game of Thrones's Cersei.

Have you been living under a rock? XD There was a pretty huge thing called the Uncovered event in late March. It was hosted live in a Hollywood theater, live streamed all over the world and basically all over gaming news sites and forums for weeks. Here too. ;)
There Kingsglaive...

...and Lena Heady as a voice actress in it were announced. Other well known actors lending their voice to the characters are Sean Bean (also Game of Thrones)...

The German car manufacturer Audi designed the car for the film and will even build a real life version of it:

Ah to be fair, I was mostly focused on Dissidia news so I haven't really digged into FFXV related VA news. The only one I haven't heard was Lena Headey, which surprised me.

Dissidia Arcade Update:

In today's Japanese SquareEnix Youtube channel stream, there were significant changes to the existing summons, including Odin.

I've yet to get the details translated, but two things are confirmed. The patch is effective tomorrow, and Alexander has been revealed and confirmed.

Low-quality videos may appear shortly, or an official trailer will follow. Either way, we should expect to be seeing some variety from here on out.

EDIT: This just in. Additionally, there are buffs and nerfs for the character roster as well. There are also major changes in dash movement for each character type.

SquareEnix has gone on the record stating that there will be exactly 52 characters in the final roster.

Apparently, there was a hint that there'd be some kind of update for June 16, and an icon of Golbez's original SNES sprite was displayed. Furthermore, they said it would be in that week's issue of Famitsu. Either the icon is just a cosmetic player icon, or Golbez is the next planned character for the June release.

Is this about dissidia? If so I wonder how Alexander as a summon will work on the Alexandria stage when he's in the background? I guess it shouldn't cause any problems since he's there for such a short while.

Its probably still 2+ years away until we get Dissidia! :( especially if there's to be 50+ characters at console launch and they aren't anywhere close.
