Omg! It looks so good, I'm definitely getting it when it comes out. Why the zodiak title though is that the new battle system from the international version?

Thanks, It sounds really good and with these improvements it will be interesting to see it for my self just how much better it looks. The remastered soundtrack will be good too!

Final Fantasy XII is one of the handful of main games I haven't played yet, so I'll definitely pick this up!

It'll be interesting to play through it, I've heard that it's really bad and some say it was awesome so I have no idea what to think until I play it myself.
Some people, for example, absolutely despise Lightning Returns for some reason... Yet it's by far my most favourite FF title to date.

I'm sure they'll make the on screen battle stuff smaller in the final version and will hopefully give the characters and textures more polish. It's apparently going to be playable at E3 this year.

Good news, FFXII is awesome!!! Seriously, the only things I didn't like about it are Vaan and the fact that the game plays itself if you set the "right" gambits.

It looks really interesting, I know that its cutesy and more childish but I'm actually interested to see more from it and I'm liking everything I see so far. ( And it really is adorable! )

It looks like it plays alot like the older generation FFs, with how you explore and it having ATB combat.

I just may have to pre-order this now.

I'm wondering if they got the original voice actors of Yuna and Tidus?! I'm pretty sure Lightning's is the same but I'm not sure about the others, And yeah right now I'm very likely going to get it since it looks very cool.

Yep it's the same voice actors, Cloud is the same as Advent Children/VII Remake also.(the grunt was identical to those in the remake trailer)
Most of the characters shown though were from games that didn't have voice acting so I have no idea about those.

That's amazing then to see the same voice actor for Yuna and Tidus back then, Even though it wasn't that long ago that I completed X/X-2 I really liked the characters so I'm excited to see them again! And yeah for characters like Squall I don't think he ever had a voice actor so they might have just got someone new.

They probably used the same voice actors of dissidia for the pre-FFX characters like Squall.
Even though it wasn't that long ago that I completed X/X-2
Speaking of FFX/X-2, now I'm playing FFX-2 HD (and finished X), will I be able to get that 100% this time? xD
Also, I actually forgot how much fun its battle systems is!

World of Final Fantasy is over 100 hours long.

Famitsu game magazin (and postage stamp publisher) had an Interview with director Hiroki Chiba and art director Yasuhisa Izumisawa of WoFF. Some interesting tidbits from that interview:

  • The game is currently in the polishing and balance adjustments phase. They’re doing the overall finishes.
  • Rather than have come from a different world, the Final Fantasy characters that appear in World of Final Fantasy have lived in the world of Grymoire from the very beginning. There are also some unexpected combinations of characters that are acquainted with each other.
  • The game is being made to be played relatively carefree. They’re implementing a system so that you can return to the town from within a dungeon at any time, as well as immediately return back to the dungeon.
  • Getting defeated in battle will only send you back home. You won’t lose money or any of the items you have. It’s being balanced so you can battle recklessly, more or less.
  • Leaving out Mirage training and side elements, the story alone is over 100 hours long.
  • The volume of the game is equivalent to a numbered Final Fantasy. There are full sub stories and events with Final Fantasy characters, too.
  • Event scenes can be fast-forwarded or skipped.
  • While you’re encouraged to bulldoze through battles early on, battles will become difficult from the middle of the game onward if you don’t consider attributes.
  • There are over 200 Mirages that appear in the game. Since Mirages will get lonely if you don’t use them, they’re making adjustments to the game so that you can train all of them.
  • Square Enix wants to make figures based on World of Final Fantasy.

Good to see your all finally getting drawn to this game now! I love the idea that its more of a chilled out game that isn't as stressful. ( I nearly died trying to defeat FFX and FFX-2! ) I love the fact that we'll be able to see characters from old games even if they aren't literally the same character canon wise. 100 hours long for the story sounds amazing and definitely a long enough story. Knowing me I'll complete it in two days regardless.

I was about to say "REALLY" but remembered your habit of blowing through games meaning you don't level grind or get the best equipment.

Now I'm a little less excited because such a big popular character is just preorder dlc and I'm curious what this means for dlc with this game
