That's good! Driving the car is going to be so much more fun now to do now that there's more control over it. And if driving is going to be a big thing in the game then its good to have more control, but yeah the Chocobo's can be off road, the trains I'm wondering how the trains will work, and the airship is going to be amazing!

What's also great and very immersive to me, there is significant car damage (it can even break down completely) which is quite expensive to fix over at Cindy's. So like in real life you will basically be urged to drive very careful anyway if you are not loaded with gil. That's imo an even cooler approach than in GTA or other such games where you can do crazy stuff with your car and it is completely fixed when you reload the game...or you just ditch the car and steal a new one. (Well it is kinda fun too...XD I have to play GTAV again sometime...)

With this and the New TGS trailers, I am back to maybe getting it at launch despite the delay actually. Last Guardian got delayed so a spot opened up...

Lol well that is very realistic, if its a lot of money I'm going to be making sure I'm not crashing to much, especially if I turn the camera around to look at the scenery around the place and accidentally crash into a car! XD

My car broke down before the weekend and the guys just called with an estimate... $3000, I'm gonna be needing the reality escape of owning a luxury car pretty soon :p

Wow that's a lot! Yeah thank god for the fantasy of games like GTA where you can crash your sports car into a building and don't have to pay!

Qhat I meant by auto battle only works in the early game is that's the only time auto battle will get you 5 star battles and extra drops.

If you want the good stuff later on you have to play the game it was designed to be played, honestly wtf were they thinking adding auto battle? It did nothing positive for the game in the slightest.

XIII actually has a rather deep and strategic battle system but, nobody knows it exists because auto battle

Right you are, no one seems to give the XIII battle system a proper chance because they spam auto battle and make a judgment based on that.

This site is a prime example of folks who took the time to break down the battle system and really show the depth that most players never even understood.

I actually really enjoyed playing through XIII and enjoyed its battle system, it was a really good game for getting me into the series.

Nothing particulrly exciting for news on Dissidia, sadly. We don't even know a release date for when the Battle of Gods patch update goes live along with Ace from Type-0. TGS would've been a perfect opportunity to get that announcement out of the way, but unfortunately they had a hard-on for showing off that mobile spinoff Opera Omnia.

However, what has been confirmed about the upcoming new content is this. We can safely confirm that the two new gods Spiritus and Materia are far removed from the job descriptions of Chaos and Cosmos. They may not even necessarily be good or evil. Perhaps neutral, lawful-good, or chaotic-good at best, but... yeah.

If the names weren't obvious enough, the two gods roughly represent spirituality and materialism, or in this case, magic and machinery. One wishes to create a lawless world unbound by limitations where mankind can freely use their inner power at will, while another wishes to create a world where mankind has limits to their spiritual ablility and order is established through technology (Skynet much?). At least that's what I've gathered from the information given by far about them... I'm sure more accurate info will be given in time.

Since the announcement, there was also a recent patch which saw not only balance changes, but slight graphical updates as well, particularly with improved lighting in certain stages, adjusted magic effects, transitions during match play, and a slight increase in game speed. The changes are minor, but effective visually in its own right.

Since Tekken 7 turned out to look so crappy on PS4 (as we saw on TGS) compared to the arcade and PC build as well as Street Fighter V looking so crappy on PS4 compared to the PC build, I've become quite pessimist regarding graphics of games that were primarily developed for PC and arcades (PC hardware too) which then are ported to consoles. They tend to lack specification and optimization for consoles. So I wouldn't count on PS4 Dissidia receiving these graphical updates or looking in general as good as the arcade version. :/

Omg lol he did! Talk about disrespect, I hope she isn't just imn the game for that fight and appears a lot. The animations are great though, I remember that animation of Prompto jumping with his gun while shooting.

Well, she's also pretty disrespectful. She taunts Noctis before the fight exactly like Christie does with Eliot. She appears to be the kind of enemy/boss that you encounter several times and that is a huge pain the ass. I'm also pretty sure Tabata mentioned you would have several encounters with her over the course of the game.

Okay thats good I'm happy to hear she'll she a recurring enemy. She looks fun to fight so hopefully she isn't a pain though I'm sure she'll annoy Noctis etc.
