I'll eventually get it myself but only because it's inevitable, my mom suddenly got "interested" in games again and she plans on buying all these games I care nothing for as an excuse for me to bring my ps4 into the living room....uh, no. XD I'm gonna buy the pro and transfer my data and then give her and my sister the ps4 so I won't have to deal with that, they already hog the ps3. ~_~

Plus faster frame rate and the additional res-ups and perks is always welcome.

Lol, yeah that's how she'll be XD I don't mind per say, but I don't want any questions, only game I'm willing to play in front of her is Tekken 7 since we're a family of Tekken fans, I main lili, she mains Lei Wulong, Dad is Marshall Law, and my sister/tekken rival uses Alisa. XD She does get on my case about Lili tho, says I should use a guy, she's too girly and her personality and Gothic dress sense is "demonic", she even calls the way I play demonic since I don't hold back against her. ~_~ And don't even get me started on Anna, sigh... She'd definitely raise an eyebrow too if i told her my favorite stage in tekken too.

But back on topic, I figured why not go pro? Better frame rates and possible resolution is gonna be beneficial for games like this that have alot of visual eye candy and scenery to show off

But "trade" implies you got something else for them in return, which I assumed was the Pro. So you just sold them?

I was thinking about trading in my old PS4 for the Pro instead of keeping my old PS4 and buying a Pro. Gamestop will have a trade in program: The old PS4 and 2 PS4 games +200€ for the Pro. It's not that bad of a deal, especially if I can get rid of crappy games like AC Union or Street Fighter V that I don't play anymore. I also don't need my old PS4 anymore when I got a better one...

GameStop had a promo that ended yesterday where you could get $50 more for console trade ins. It was a pre-purchase deal more or less.

Oh, I see. So you can get your Pro on Thursday then? That would be cool if this was possible here too, because I have the feeling the Pro will be sold out quickly on Thursday and maybe for the coming couple of weeks. Germany is Sony country and each new Sony console tends to sell out fast. I'm getting the Pro for FFXV though and it releases in just three weeks.

Doesn't trading in your PS4 without ps+ mean losing all of your save files?

And the saves will work on a different console as long as it's the same account?

I just found out there's a 2 day ps+ trial if you try to access online saves (at least on a hong kong account idk about a german one) so if you trade it in and get a new one like immediately you could try that

Pro isn't getting anything exclusive from FFXV as far as enhancements go. Odd choice to go all in like that but if you have the TV setup, cool. I'm skipping the Pro and getting Scorpio when that drops instead. My normal PS4 is basically a blu-ray player at this point and when I do play it I use my Xbox Elite controller anyway.

As for FFXV I've done a pretty excellent job of avoiding learning much of anything about it so far. I don't want to know, really. I don't play RPGs 'right' anyway. I pick something I like and then stick with it the entire game unless a better version of the same thing comes around. Weapons, skills, or whatever. Thankfully this game is a bit more like an action game than an RPG where combat is concerned so that's better for my style of play. I don't wander off the beaten path much either so I hope the mainline story is easy to stick to.

Is that the Midgard Zolom snake from FFVII? I use to beat the crap out of that thing because on my first playthrough he use to fuck me up. Then on my second playthrough on it's attack tactics, I figured out a way to abuse him for EXP early in the game and beat the shit out of it.

Why, I was so cruel that I made it across the map.........turned around and beat the crap out of it again. Take that you stupid snake.

I still remember the scene you can't return to of Sephiroth killing it I believe.

FF14 is making my brain feel like mush. i haven't put so much effort into a game since DOA. every few level ups is a new thing to keep track of or add into the rotation all in the right order of course.

DOT all the mobs
use correct combination of mudra
use the correct combination of combos with the proper ender and make sure not to forget where you were when you use abilities during cool down
use the cool down of your combos to use other abilities on their own separate abilities
keep track of the massive clusterfuck of monsters,spells, and players
etc.. etc...

ive got 10 more levels to go before i max out the cap on realm reborn and can move onto heavensward.

Lol, wasn't there supposed to be a Dissidia reveal today? It's already past 7pm on the 7th in Japan and since Dissidia is just exclusive to Japanese arcades so far I thought they meant the 7th Japan time.

I know Sephiroth, he's that guy with the silver/white long hair and the bangs that eerily remind me of Helena. I'll have to watch some gameplay on him to see if he looks worth using whenever some is shown outside of stream.
