Freezing yourself?

I've tried it before. I wouldn't recommend it.

There was a very interesting piece on cryogenics on This American Life that can be heard here (good way to get an hour closer to the launch

This guy made claims to those who were destined to have short-lived lives that he believed in cryogenics and that he'd be happy to help them freeze over since he had access to freezers that could accomplish the hypothesized temperature levels needed for the process. Then comes present day and it's not a reality yet and is likely not to be. So now he has to live with the fact that he essentially killed these people. That's what I remember from it anyway, it was a damn interesting listen in any case.
I used to joke with my mom and girlfriend that a coma pill should be designed where you can designate how long you want the coma to last and find yourself coming to at the desired time. Coincidentally, a year later, Them Crooked Vultures comes out with a song that talks about similar ideas which is insane for me being that Dave Grohl and Josh Homme are huge musical/creative influences for me.

And the more INTENSE it becomes.
I'm super hyped for this game, but I'm pretty calm about waiting. I probably won't get into that "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" phase until the 24th when I know that the game is coming out TOMORROW.

I pre-ordered the CE 'cause I'm a costume whore, but that also means it's being shipped and almost guarantees I won't see the game launch day. I can live with some people having the game early, but this game is testing my patience.
Kind of funny actually, 'cause I'm used to TN games <back in the day> being delayed 3 times before release as a matter of course. I'm actually thinking about picking it up on PSN just to cover the wait after release.

I've tried doing that during New Japan Pro Wrestling's G1 Climax round robin tournament (Which ends up in the US two or three days AFTER each show); it's not easy at all. In this case, I could care less. Granted, days ARE getting a tiny, eensy-weensy little bit longer as the release date gets closer, but I digress.
The worst time I've had waiting for ANYTHING was when I wrote a wrestling match that was filmed a month after I wrote it. I had to send it into the group filming it, wait for the group to do the tapings, then wait another week for them to do editing BEFORE I finally got the match. Definitely not like being a road agent for a real promotion (Road agents do the same thing, only on the night of the show).
