Gamescom Updates

My thoughts on some of the things in this article.

Apparently there won't be any character themes this time around which honestly dissapoints me but it looks like music from the previous DOA games might be a possibility and there are tons of great songs I'd love to play DOA5 to (Looking at you, DOA3 soundtrack).

The trailer got me fairly excited to see what story will be like and after the comment on character relationships I'm interested in seeing how it turns out, hopefully it will turn out better than SCV's story mode, I wasn't a fan of how that turned out.

It's also great to see that they'll be supporting the tournament scene and if all goes well maybe we'll even see this game at EVO.

I recently heard a track from a previous DOA in one of the vids. Don't remember what vid it was though.

Eliot has a 9 frame hit. Nice! Brad Wong with an air throw, a throw out of his new stance, and a catch grab, more nice. Such nice tools for low tier characters.
They gotta make up something for them to not be completely garbage and turn them somehow usable.

Yeah, that sucks, but I can certainly live with it.

Nobody was a fan of SCV's story. No matter how bad DOA5's story could turn out, it can't be any worse than that trash.

It's definitely good to hear them say that. No fighter can last if it isn't supported in the competitive scene. And making it to EVO? That would be incredible. I'd really love to see that happen. Not just for one year, but as a regular thing.

EVO shouldn't be the goal, regular 100+ player majors should be.

Kayane is very BEAUTIFUL :) its tough finding women who LOVES playing video games. :(

I really respect TN for showing so much love for PS3 owners. :) Over here in the U.S. We get NO love at all :( I know the PS3 is hard to develop games on but come on! the PS3 been around like what, 6 years? They should know how 2 develop games for it!! We PS3
owners get sloppy versions, everytime x-play reviews games they ALWAYS show the xbox 360 version. I'VE BEEN NOTICING DOA5
LOOKS MORE OF THE SAME 360 & PS3!!!! if TN can do it, then western developers can DO IT TOO!!

Yep, the PS3 version of DOA5 is going to be the definitive one.

I don't have a PS3 anymore but I personally like this change of pace because I always said Xbox 360 is a system suited best for Shooters where's to PS3 is Fighters.

Once I get me another PS3 I'll buy DOA5 also because I would like to play against everyone.

No... no it isn't.

Well Team Ninja has Metroid Other M and Dimensions under their belts. *giggles*
But the irony of this is that Nintendo was the one responsible for the story, including the portrayal of Samus's character. It just sucks that Team Ninja took the heat for it because of its then-controversial portrayal of females just because they developed the game... but I digress.

Still we are left with DOA:D story (pretty much 1-4). (Get someone else to do the story please.)
