Who here thinks gen fu is top tier... Plzzz state facts because I really feel he's mid tier at best!!! I want facts not opinions. State y u think gen fu is top tier.

Talk to @SweetRevenge117. From what I've seen him do, I would say yes, Gen Fu is top tier.
Parries. 11 frame mid. He's got a vortex when he catches you he gets a guaranteed kick and ur at 4. 214t puts him at +10. He gets a combo off a raw power launcher. His stuns are so deep it forces your opponent whether they wanna lose 100 points or get blendered. 3p goes under everything and if you hit them with the follow up it sits them down into another sitdown and you can take 111 dmg. Faint that that crushes a lot of moves from range and guarantees massive damage.
He's EASILY top tier.

Also a 14 frame launcher that tracks (yes its a high but its perfect for people who hold mid p or ss after blender)

And with all that he has no range game a plethora of stuns yeah but there all medium punches. He's only got one good launcher and when u critical burst and ur opponents on the by a wall that launch knocks them against the wall. He has good tools but the lack of range game alone makes him not top tier. All ninjas are top tier, bayman is top tier,Jann lee is top tier, helena is top tier, Christie is top tier, akira is top tier. They are all better then Fu, they all have guaranteeds like Fu and they got something he doesn't.... A range game. He's mid tier in ultimate, 4-5 yeah he was top tier but not this game.

No. You obviously don't understand what having a vortex does. Also 6k is a DEEP stun and is a HIGH KICK. also he has that new range punch that's SAFE. also if you have someone against the wall and do 8p it doesn't knock against the wall. genfu is top tier and IMO one of the best 3 in the game. Also 3p is a true mid. How can you put him in mid tier? LMFAO
Play sweet revenge and maybe your wall of ignorance will be knocked down. Fu is better than Jann, Helena, and Akira. Sounds like you're just playing him wrong.

Also 8p is a good launcher and its fast. 64p doesn't technically launch but it sit down bounces into a massive combo.

I know what he can do he's my main since 4... That 8p doesn't launch them high enough to pull off his damaging combos, that new range punch doesn't travel far at all and it's nothing compared to Jann lee and ayanes infinite range. Bro he's good but if he's top tier all of those ninjas are god tier including mimoji. They def nerfed him on Ultimate.

All I did was state why he's not top tier... Just like he stated how he was top tier... I'll give him top tier if y'all agree that the ninjas are extremely overpowered and need there own separate tier. My thing is that a top tier character isn't heavily overpowered in one facet and weak in another. Top tier characters are well rounded and extremely balanced. I just don't see that balance in bro. I see it in all the ninjas, I see it in bayman, Christie and akira but not him. That's all I'm sayin.

All the charscters you listed have weaknesses lmao. Akira got nerfed. Bayman isn't better than genfu lmao and loses to him on speed. The only thing he can do is tank roll but 6p4p will retrack it and hit him same fpr christie and her special ss

Ninja's are overpowered? Stop trolling. Kasumi is extremely unsafe and her damage output is good but not all that great. Hayate lacks string mixups and is unsafe as balls. He has to take risks to open people up. Ayane lmao nobody except Hajinshinobi knows how to play her the right way. Not gonna comment on Hayabusa because I don't know him. All the ninja's are solid in this game and some could use some tweaks IMO but OP? lol no.

Bruh I guess we just disagree on his tier rank... Hes a great character but as I said if he's top tier then what tier are those ninjas??? It's no way I put him in the same tier as those ninjas or bayman or akira and Christie.

Dude Gen fu is twice as good as any ninja. He has access to tools that they do not have. You claim Gen fu is poor at range; do you even use the new lunge he got? That is specifically there to help him get in.
This isn't DOA4 anymore man. The days of the ninjas being high-top tier are over.
