It's a sign of weakness is what it is. If someone spends time at the start of the match doing it to me I'm gonna punt their face.
Well, typically you "respect" your opponent after you've faced them, so it wouldn't be at match start.
Anyway, I would consider it more like that, but unfortunately a lot of people use English voices where Troy Baker feels the need to be hyped up on a cocktail of steroids, red bull and tourettes and screams: "Enough!" when you do it, so a lot of people will consider it a taunt/sign of disrespect even if it's not.
