Hot Zone Helicopter = Ceiling Attack?

I'm not talking about hitting the helicopter during a power blow. I recently just hit my opponent into the RPG wall and they bounced off of the bottom of the helicopter when it flew past. I'm not sure, but it looked like a ceiling bounce where you get some guaranteed damage! If anyone is able to test this that would be great. I tried, but it sees like one of those rare occasions that you just have to look for when you land an RPG wall hit. I'll keep my eyes open, but I don't expect to see that again any time soon. The timing had to be perfect.

If it was a ceiling...then couldn't you do the Izuna Drop off the bottom of the heli?

I would assume so if it swooped over top of you at the moment you started the throw.

Something like this can happen in scramble as well, with the crane passing by.

yes you can get a ceiling bounce off the bottom of the chopper. Its kinda random tho. Super throws will ceiling bounce it when it flys by. Haven't tried rajin or izuna yet. Easy way to set it up is hit them into the sandbags once (not over them). This starts the war and the chopper. It will keep flying back and forth. You can watch for the bullet spray as it fly's by or just keep an eye down the street

Great to know! And RoboJoe, you're right it's similar to when the crane passes by on Scramble. However, those without ceiling attacks have the ability to take advantage on Hot Zone as long as you time everything right: RPG wall--> helicopter. It it's rare, I know, but after hearing that you need to hit the sandbags first, you get slightly more control.
