How do I install mods?

Hi,

I'd like to install mods to add some costumes, especially for my main Kasumi and Hayabusa, or whatever I found on the internet that seems cool. I tried with Umod but the game doesn't start... I also read about DLC way but it needs a crack and I don't want to risk to be discovered by Steam.
How do I solve this?

Best place to ask for this is the modding subforums and the tutorials there. The steam threads are also good and the reddit forums have some decent info there too.
