How long is the health bar?

In Tekken the damage during juggles gets scaled down to 50% by the second hit, so maybe that's how they can get away with only 180 health. Is damage scaled down at all during combos in DOA?

It is largely scaled. If combo is started with normal hit first hit deals 100% damage, hit during critical stun deals 50% damage, air hit on juggled opponent does 40% damage, hit on downed opponent does 30% damage. There's no progressive scaling in solo mode. Counter hit and hi counter hit adds 25% and 50% to overall combo damage.
