Whenever I fight this old homo he gives me the hardest time. I don't know if I'm just playing him wrong or something... Anybody have any types on how to deal with this guy? I use Ayane and Momiji for your info.

Keep the distance, Gen Fu plays the close combat. Also, most of his attacks are mid or high punches, so be always ready for counter them.

Gen Fu plays the poke-stun->reset game, basically epitomizing the problems and frustrations that many people have with DOA's current combat system. So yeah, he can be a pain.

My local Gen-Fu seems really happy about his 214P. I hope they didn't buff him from vanilla 5.

He's just too damn good is the problem especially now with that guaranteed kick after the launch throw.

Gen Fu can go die in a fire...

Damn right I am, as I posted a while ago 214PP and K are the best things to happen to Gen Fu. Even with his nerfs, there is a net change in balance making him better overall. He now can move around the stage easier and I think K speaks for itself. A shame SR didn't use it much stand alone at TFC, but just after air throw.

As for how to deal with Gen Fu, get a life lead and make him come to you. He has trouble approaching others, though 214P does help, he's still a fish out of water on rushdown.

Genfu needs to be top tier or no one would play his old homo ass. #Truth

Anyway my secret to beating him is to be aggressive and spam mid kick counters
