I'm sure people will be able to play the game extensively over the days of E3 during the morning of pool 1, and if you're in the later pools, even more time.

What I mean is for the rest of us.

Who here is really willing to travel to compete in a version of a game you've never played? I sure more than a few of you but Jesus fucking christ. . .this is a bad idea unless they release the E3 version for download.

I'm going to post as much info about the build that will be there at the E3 booth as much as possible. It seems things will be a little on the hectic side but if any of you guys have any specific questions on the game please PM me because going through all these pages in the forums might end up getting missed and I want to be able to address all the questions possible for the WHOLE DOA Community. Also the more peeps tune into the stream/competition the better for the game, Just saying!

You conspired behind the scenes to keep this tournament on the low and anyone who could have found a way to get into the event (With money or influence) who wasn't part of the clique didn't get the memo.

DOA 5 was going to be at E3. Everyone already knew this. Drdogg was saying it for months. If they wanted to go before, it would cost them thousands. If they want to go now, it will still cost them thousands. Not much changed in this regard.

If you reread your posts the implication can be taken that you're accusing Rikuto of only being excited about this because he's going to E3. Now, if you were being genuine, I apologise and withdraw the comment in reference to you.

But it doesn't come out of thin air - look at your negativity earlier in the thread that prompted Rikuto to ask you to shut up and have some faith. Does it seem that strange to read you as continuing with a sarcastic line of argument with him? Its kind of up to you to clear the air, rather than get all steamed up at me for pointing this out. A classic misunderstanding, that you could have been avoided with some level-headed clarification.

Ya know, how Master waited till the last minute to let the information out and by the time he did it was too late - exactly what you did.

Even if everyone knew DOA5 was going to be there they didn't know about the tournament, which you knew about and you kept secret.

Case in point: I didn't know. I asked you through PM 2 weeks ago what the deal was and you didn't tell me. I could have taken off work if I wanted, maxed out a credit card and made the trip. You kept a tight lip though - just like that guy you hate.

And, like I said, if enough people knew about it ahead of time they could have networked with some industry media outlets or a collection could have been taken up for PL or someone to go so that the dastardly DOAMaster could be knocked off his ivory perch or whatever the throne you day dream he sits on is made of.

But I know why you didn't broadcast it, same reason Master doesn't broadcast all of the "foul" shit you accuse him of.

Dude, you're drawing a long bow. Rikuto has made his stance on various points in the community and game very clear and while its fine to butt heads over attitude and approach sometimes, I don't think its cool to question his commitment and passion for the game.

The facts in this case are that DrDogg has a say in how this IPL tournament runs and that means Rikuto was asked to be involved by DrDogg and this adds to the grassroots credibility of the event.

As for broadcasting the info, Rikuto isn't in control of this event, and it is up to IGN/TN and the partners organising to choose their timing. It's public today, and the people involved are talking about it today. You can't expect more.

Its an E3 event, so don't cry about people not being able to go. Not everyone can go. But people who represent our interests ARE going. (And why the hell shouldn't it be a job opportunity, by the way? People doing events in gaming DO deserve rewards, and like any opportunity, so long as they operate ethically, its fine. I see no evidence of a problem in this case from Rikuto, DrDogg, OR Master etc)

Let's just get on board and support this, shall we?
