I actually have a modification done by Jaxel on 8WR that allows an IRC chat room to be utilized on the FreeStepDodge website. I didn't have an IRC channel to link it to though.

I don't have IRC , the program, installed in my computer.
Is there a way you can make a direct link from the site to the IRC channel like 8WR or does that cost money?

Yes, TYP the mod Jaxel offers is the same on the 8WR site. It does not require mIRC to be installed or running to use on the website.

I have it disabled right now as 1) I don't have a place to link it to, and 2) I don't fully understand how to set it up .
