I think we all agree that Lei Fang's voice actress needs to go bungee jumping without a cord.
I don't know if it's the VA or the VA director who's to blame for Leifang's terrible voice clips. Somebody at the studio fucked up to think that "yaa~aah!" cry would not be annoying.
And somehow I don't think Christopher Nolan is crying any tears at night because people do watch TDKR in French; not only does it help the bank account, but it actually gives his product an audience that would be categorically barred were it up to presumptuous types who imagine art to be so stale.
Dubs sucks if you don't enjoy it. Some of us don't mind things being dubbed. Not everyone know Japanese, or want to read English text when you can hear the character come to life with voice.
More like a can of roaches.Looks like I opened up a can of worms mentioning Leifang's dubbed voice, haha.
He is currently Espio in Sonic (the ninja chameleon detective). He's not very over the top and has a personality similar to Hayabusa. Troy Baker is good as both IMO.Troy Baker is horribly miscast as Hayabusa. He's better as characters that are insanely over the top (Snow) or anti hero/villain protagonists (Jake Muller, The Boss, and Yuri Lowell). Hayabusa is more of a strong silent type, and Troy Baker can't pull that off without sounding campy.
On topic, I like all English voices but Eliot's, Gen Fu's, Leifang's and Hitomi's. My favorite is probably Kasumi's.
I love her Jap voice =_(I cant stand Hitomi's voice in Japanese,so...English all day for me lol
