Kasumi

Now that everyone has access to Kasumi... what do you guys think?

I'm going through her chapter selection, and I find her to be fun, but very weak in the Tests of Valor. I haven't explored her move set very well, but she seems to struggle at applying real pressure on NG2 bosses, and Alma.

I want opinions because some of my crew from DOAW is saying she's completely overpowered.

She's a strong character for normal enemies, definitely. Possibly the best in the game at crowd control and staying safe. That said she does struggle against bosses for sure and has to rely on hit and run a bit too much. I find myself using Light Light Strong to strike and then get away quite often. A lot of her power comes from Ukifune and her UT which are useless against bosses. Sakura Modai is useful in a pinch but has no offensive capabilities. Her Ninpo is, in my opinion, the third best in the game behind True Inferno and...whatever Momiji's is called, so there's that too.

She's not overpowered but she is very good.

I think ayane is even better tbh, her XXYY has insane delimb rate and it has some i-frames in it.

I don't like seeing her covered in blood so I never use her

Itagaki never even wanted her part of the NG series in the first place, so he's probably outraged. Then again she isn't canon to NG, sp I don't have a problem with that. Haven't tried her out since I'm running through Hard as Momiji at the moment, but she's pretty good from what I've heard : P
