The Evo presentation was awesome. Bunch of douchebags hating on Xbox One during a game presentation but I loved what I saw. Chief Thunder returns though I was hoping for Fulgore's reveal myself.

I expected it. I thought they'd be a bit more respectful of MarkMan and Rich but I knew there'd be some nonsense. Incredibly disrespectful to the developers and community guys to hate on a system instead of appreciate the game that everyone that played it was obviously loving. There's plenty of vids of the MadCatz booth from the event and I saw nobody booing the game or trash talking it that played it. A lot of people are just pieces of shit so fuck 'em. I tweeted at the team almost immediately to tell them how much I loved the presentation. I'll vote with my wallet come November and I'm sure they'll be successful with their chosen business model.

Yeah you have to weed out the nonsense. Some people just can't be helped. I can't wait for the game. Looks sick. I'm still waiting on them to show off Fulgore Cinder Kim Wu & Orchid lol. I got Jago & Glacious, which I pretty much expected them to be in the main 3 or 4 in terms of showcasing. Sablewulf looks nice, too.

Well at this point we're only missing confirmation on Riptor from the first game. Cinder, Spinal, and Fulgore were confirmed already and Orchid will definitely not be removed. I'd honestly see Riptor getting announced as the first Round 2 character confirmation.

EDIT: Never mind, forgot about Combo. He'll be in though.

He'll probably not be in Round 1 lol. Not exactly the most popular character introduced in KI2. I did think they'd go with literally any other reveal for Evo than Thunder, though, so maybe you'll get your character.

And the fact they're teasing Thunder before Orchid leads me to believe they're having trouble making a nice looking female model... I'm kind of glad they're screwing this up though, makes me feel better about skipping Xbone

He has a new suit. His story lends itself well to changing his outward appearance and I happen to like it. He still has the glowing eyes and that's his most notable trait. His old design was incredibly boring looking.

After watching some more videos from the latest build I've come to the conclusion that KI is basically the same as DoA but on a 2D plane. What I mean by that is that you can now break everything and you can also counter break, meaning you can bait a combo breaker and get a lock out state on your opponent for four seconds. Throwing things out carelessly can lead to being broken (held), but baiting out that combo breaker can lead to you then punishing the hell out of the opponent's attempt (hi-counter blow, hi-counter throw).

There's a bit more there but I really think that the mentality is going to be very similar. You can break everything but at the risk of being too obvious with the break. Too similar to holds in DoA for me to not notice.

only onr of those will be part of the launch cast because i know their going.to put dumbass orchid in....this is a fail.

More than likely, the other two revealed characters will be Orchid and Fulgore, because, well... Fulgore IS Jago's main nemesis, and Orchid also plays a central role in the series as we know it.

The 7th and 8th character may likely be Combo and Spinal... no, Cinder. It would make sense for Spinal to be the last character added even onto the second season pass, given his metamorphing ability.
