Like most everything else, the price has increased (just an additional 15 USD for the exclusive skin); sure - but that quality is assured, and the collectability of these items will likely go through the roof. This will certainly become the rarest Team NINJA collectible on the market today once Microsoft removes the exclusive skin option that is non-game bundled and available for purchase outside of just Japan.
You don't have to play by the rules of standard controller offerings that you would get from Sony or Nintendo. This is Design Labs. You get to customize the grips, you get to customize the back color, the light color and plenty more to your liking.
