I guess, it's a really nice gesture of TN, to present the fan costumes to every fan. :3
I do feel bad for all fans stuck on last gen consoles though...

don't be, at least not until good DLC comes out for next gen only, lol.

last gen is only really missing 2 stages (ones a joke, ones a doa2 stage), and mostly crappy hairstyles at the moment.

Unless you are trying to argue that penguins are worth 400 dollars lol

I plan on buying the PS3 version because of the huger set of free costumes and the fact that I have CF Ultimate and I'd rather play with all the characters and before the Steam version preorder and get the PC version since I plan on rebuilding my PC once I get a job and I'm not getting a PS4 anytime soon.

Do I have to delete my trial version then buy core fighters bundle and re download it again for it to work?!

I'm glad you can repeat combo challenges now without having to go back into the menu. I assume this also works in the tutorial?

I think in retrospect, people were riled up over nothing. The last gen versions of Last Round honestly has enough content to satisfy those who can't make the jump to current gen so far. The patch is free, the fan costumes are free, and the new music is free. However, I'm still eagerly awaiting my PS4 copy, just so I can see the game in 1080p and use some of the other little bonuses (like new hairstyles, customization in character select, new stages). The PS3 version also looks slightly brighter and smoother as well. Kudos Team Ninja. Also, @David Gregg does have a point. Team Ninja basically said that last gen owners won't get access to any new future DLC, which could mean a new character, stage, mode, costumes, etc., so it was fair for last gen owners to get 31 new costumes and new music for free as part of the update. Overall, last gen owners who don't really care about graphics, new stages, hairstyles, or future DLC should be satisfied.

What I honestly hope they do is not move some of the new DLC to last gen, that way, they'll be able to add characters. Or something like that. Besides, current gen exclusive costumes might give folks that extra push.

Well that's the main reason I plan on buying the PC version as well as PS3. I really can't make the jump atm due to no job and I believe my computer can run DOA somwhat competently, but with bad framerate...but it won't really be an issue since A) I don't plan on going online with it till I get a job and build a gaming PC B) There won't be no online for possibly 3 months on top of that.

New characters is gonna be a wait so I'm not too worried on that level so fair tradeoff till I can find work.

I hope to SHIMBORI that the new stages are on PC. If the news comes that they are not, well....

Very glad that the new fan outfits will be included in the update!

I'm waiting for the release of Last Round set for knowing the price of it (I would be interested to get it if a discounted way for buying the old DLC packs + the 2 new characters), but so far I can't still see it on Xbox 360 marketplace (at least online).

So far there is instead a pack offering all the 5 new characters for $14,99 or the 5 new characters + their debut set for $39,99

what the hell.

So they want you to pay the price of a FULL GAME, just for 5 characters?

Goddamn can you imagine if they pulled that crap with Dynasty Warriors? "And yes, for the LOW COST of 250 dollars, you can have the full roster of this 40 dollar game!"

Crap I hope I didn't just give them an idea...

Anyways, it looks like I'm gonna be disregarding Mila in favor of maining Leon for a while again. Because I can't get enough of his new outfit lol

The 40 dollars is the price for the 5 characters + 20 outfits (the debut sets of MR, P4, Nyo and Honoka).

If you want simply the 5 characters with their outfits in disc, you can buy the set of 15 dollars. Also, the single Honoka and Raidou cost $3,99 each one.

Price of the game for 5 characters and ALL of their debut costumes. Keep in mind that characters with debuts cost like 10 dollars each. So, would you rather pay $50 for the characters and costumes that you don't care about separately, pay $39 bundled, or pay $15 for the new characters with no DLC costumes (Which are fetish anyway)? I'd go for the $15 option, wouldn't you?
