Let's just accept Last Round for what it is and what it's offering so far. Of all the 3D fighters, DOA5 is the only one that currently gets a lot of support from its developer. True, Namco is working on Tekken 7 now, but TTT2 didn't get this much content in its lifespan. Soulcalibur is just a mess and while VF5FS has a strong community, new players aren't playing it. DOA5 at least has gotten new content in the form of stages, characters, and costumes. Not to mention, DOA5 Last Round will be the first 3D fighter on next gen, which is nothing to sneeze yet.

TL;DR Just be happy that Team Ninja is still supporting DOA5. I'm sure that there will be lots of new content in Last Round, but they won't show us all of it right now. It's still a long way from Spring 2015.

We haven't seen anything for 3 weeks. Chill.

I was going to say this but I didn't know what to type without people jumping down my throat. XD

I'm sure people will still jump down my throat, but I don't know what people are expecting right now. So far, the new content seems to be in line with what we've gotten in Ultimate, which means new characters, stages, and costumes. What we should be waiting for is to see if Team Ninja incorporates any new gameplay mechanics.

We are also getting a graphical upgrade on the X360 and PS3 versions of the game, don't forget.

I think people are mostly upset that TN said there would be something new to show and there wasn't. We've done this dance a few times now already but being lied to intentionally or not is still going to upset some people.

That said what are out odds of them revealing the new characters at TFC?

I hope they are going to release a trailer of the reveal just before TFC, and have a play demo with them at TFC.

Do you think? We haven't seen any PS3 or 360 footage yet (trailer and demo were all current gen versions). I always think: Wow, look at this poor antialiasing, ugly textures and screen tearing in victory/losing animations. DOA5's graphic engine must be already running at it's very limit on last generation consoles. Now, suddenly, there's supposed to a be a small graphical update like better particle effects and more penguins...(soft skin being apparantly PS4 and Xbone exclusive)? I will believe this, if I see it running on my Xbox360. :)

I'm not expecting much just new stages, characters and nerfs/buffs the interface looks the same. I will be getting my game on the next-gen I already told my friends if I don't see you on next-gen playing DOA5LR you will get left behind I'm not risking $40 to play DOA5LR on last gen to get the "same game with the same net-code no thanks". I don't have the money to buy a next-gen console like everyone else but i will find a way i want to guarantee the best DOA Experience in 1080p/60fps hopefully everyone will move on eventually when they can afford it.;)

Pessimism - OMG another female character? And her design sucks!!! So generic looking!! Omg costumes for the female characters again? I HATE THIS GAME!!!!!111

Anyway, I actually expected the PS4 version to look much better. It looks exactly like the PS3 version.

I think odds are high they'll reveal at least one character. They themselves referred to TFC as the biggest DOA tournament of the year.
Marie Rose can suck a dick i hate her
