Mila - Boxer or Brawler?

I've noticed that she can be played in two polar opposite but equally effective styles. I see most people playing with with a jabbing, poking style, focused on stun and juggles, while I and a few others I've seen tend to play her in a very Leonish style of heavy hits and beatdowns.

Being MMA, she's.suited to either way. Which way do you use her?

When I first pick Mila up in Vanilla, to me she felt nothing like a boxer (compared to Steve fox or Brad Burns). Don't get me wrong, I was hyped when they TN announce MMA character that focused on boxing,kick-boxing and val-Tudo. Since the update, I've been playing her as 2 two things:

1. Boxing & kickboxing - I use jabs(with feints) to stun until critical burst for either a free mount after 9P, launch combo or power blow/launcher.

2. Grappler- this I feel is a lot harder to use, because its rare to use a raw takedown. So the moment my opponent start to block my jabs I grab.

So to answer your question both when necessary.

Now more than ever my #1 goal is to land TD. I don't mess around with stun games

Finally got her for core fighters.

With all the additional combos and feints, coupled with the new ways to land the mount tackle, seems like both ways are getting more polarizing.

I shifted into a Boxer role with her towards the end of 5. Just picked up 5U and happy to see how many of my style changes are enhanced with the new move set and minor tweaks.
I was tempted to do a tech dump a couple of months ago but I'm glad I've held onto a few details because she is a pretty good striker with the extra threat of your grabs and loops.

Right now I'm mainly using her as a boxer with the brawler side as a warning "Do this, you will pay for it."
Not really had time to hit the lab so for me I couldn't say much more about her. See how the next few weeks unfold for me.

For sure lacking +frames though if you go raw boxer. I'll probably morph a bit more and treat her as a flat middle ground between the two but that'll be after some trial and error. Raw mashing fun until I get done with overtime and see what is really viable.
