Need help unlocking pre-order bikini code on XBOX 360

So I got the bikini code when I first got the game on release day (preorder, not collector code), but haven't really cared enough to put in the code until recently.

I never preorder XBOX 360 games normally, so I was a bit of a newb trying to figure out where to put in the code. In the end, I put the code into the www.xbox.com page while signed into my profile, and it said that I unlocked the angels preorder bikini set in a popup window.

However, when I play on the XBOX 360, I'm not sure how to get the swimsuits to actually unlock. I assume I need to somehow download them, but they don't show up as available in the marketplace section in the DOA 5 main menu, so I'm at a loss from where to enable them.

Could anyone give me some tips on how the new costumes might be downloaded to the xbox 360, after validating the code via web page (on PC)?

u need to go to the xbox menu .. go to redeem code .. and unlock it there .. it should work

Well that may have been what you're supposed to do from the start, but as I did it from my PC on the www.xbox.com web page originally, the code is considered redeemed already.

If I try to put the code in through that method now, it says I've already redeemed the code.

You can go to your download history from account management and try to download it again.

If you did it from your PC it should have just been put on your download cue. It's entirely possible that you turned on your xbox, loaded DOA5 instantly before it could download them (because god forbid you can download stuff whilst playing a game...) so it's still on your download cue waiting for you to idly sit at the dashboard. I would suggest, if you haven't already, checking the characters again and if they're not there then just redownload them and it should work.
