Need help with costume catalog 14 bug

Hey guys. I'm at my wits end trying to get this bug fixed for 360 DOA5U.

So I fire up the game after not having played for a few months, and I need to download costume catalog 14. No problem. Go into the store, download the catalog, head back the the menu.....and it's all locked, saying I need to download costume catalog 14. When it downloads, it doesn't actually download again, just going from 0% to 1%, then to 99% and complete.

Fine, whatever. I download it again. Still locked. Download it several more times, still locked. Below is a list of the things I have tried to fix it:

- Download in game
- Download every other catalog (just in case I missed something)
- Download manually through the XBL store
- Delete/reinstall game
- Deleted cache
- Deleted/reloaded profile
- Loaded without internet
- Loaded in a different profile
- Power cycle/Unplug everything

Any tips? Oh, and thanks Team Ninja for making us jump through all these hoops to download costumes instead of just making it a mandatory update like everyone else on the planet.

Did you download it via the game and then going to the store, or going through the marketplace then search for DOA5U and then going to catalogue 14?

It worked for me with the latter. The former went from 0% to 1% and it wouldn't download.

Hi there,

I had the same problem, with multiple parts of the mandatory dlc. Does the file show up in your 'system' -> 'storage' -> 'doa5 ultimate' folder? If so does the file size look appropriate? I'd try deleting it there if you haven't done that yet.

I eventually managed to get it to work by going to 'game details' -> 'extras' and then manually downloading it there. Maybe that'll work for you.

Okay, issue resolved.

For future reference, you can't delete the game from the "My games" area, because that doesn't delete all the data associated with the game. You need to go into the system and HDD settings and delete EVERYTHING before downloading and reinstalling everything.

Okay, issue resolved.

For future reference, you can't delete the game from the "My games" area, because that doesn't delete all the data associated with the game. You need to go into the system and HDD settings and delete EVERYTHING before downloading and reinstalling everything.

Yep what I meant too. I always do my downloads there.
