So I think it's a safe bet that most of us have Netflix right now and I figured we should have a thread discussing what gems we've discovered that peeps NEED TO CHECK OUT!

Here are some things I've recently watched:

This movie is sooooo rlevant to whats going on today it's MIND BLOWING.

Cult Classic YESSSS!

Don't know if it's still in there, BUT I LOVED THIS MOVIE.

This was put in recently! Wish Isaw it before I saw Avengers. Thought it was going to be a snooze fest, was actually REALLY GOOD!

STAY AWAY!

I've been more of a TV series marathon goer lately.

They typically will have all but the final season of a show.

So wait, was Tron Legacy good or bad?

Anyways, if you've yet to see them (even if you've watched the new English version), I highly recommend watching The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy.

Don't worry, I saw it long before a remake was even being discussed, and it was a brilliant work of art. Haven't seen the new one yet, but the foreign original is truly a masterpiece.

Nothing is too hot for me ;) Haha =P
Then I'll send it on a PM.

@Gill: That's what you get for setting your expectations way too high. Sure, it's not as groundbreaking as the original was, but it's no Postal either. I've seen it. You're exaggerating.

I had no expectations cuz I barely remember the original.

Saw Aliens before Alien, and that KICKED ASS. I remember Tron Legacy . . . actually since I really disliked it I only remember about 20% and I sat through the whole thing. But that's what I think . . .

TRON: Legacy started hot, lulled for a while, and had a "meh" ending, but NO WAY does it deserve a "worst movie ever" tag. There are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many movies out there WAY worse than TRON: Legacy.

BTW, I don't have Netflix. I kinda have no need for it, nor do I typically (at least, lately) have enough batches of free time to warrant hitting it up for random re-watching of old favs (that I don't already have sitting on my shelf).

One more thing ... is KICK-ASS on Netflix? If it is, then PUT THAT MOVIE ON YOUR LIST. More people need to see that movie, especially with the sequel coming probably next year.

Also add The Cabin in the Woods, whenever that hits Netflix. That movie is meta^AWESOME for anyone who likes laughing at, or even often hates on, horror movie cliches. Note, this movie MUST be watched SPOILER-FREE in order to fully enjoy its "take" on the horror genre!

SHOCKING!!!!

This thread was tailor made for you . . .

Oh and I recently sat down and watched this:

Thought is going to be Crappy but Bob's Burgers Louise>Family Guy Stewie.

And I don't care what anyone says, American Dad>Family Guy.

That's more like it. KICK-ASS on Netflix is pretty old news though and yeah I enjoyed that one.

Cabin in the Woods? Does this one require an herbal remedy? ;)

Haha. Yeah, if I had more time, I'd probably be all over it. But as things currently stand, me rocking Netflix would likely happen at the expense of something higher on my totem pole of priorities. And since I tend to be weekly regular at the theatre to check out anything worth seeing anyway, there's kinda no point ATM.

As for this thread, I personally probably have a ton of gems ON MEMORY I could recommend if someone were to ask.

It's hard to describe Cabin in the Woods without spoiling it.

The best advice I can give you is to just watch the dad-gummed thing.

It would probably enhance the experience, though, I'd recommend your first run of the movie be clean. YES, this is a movie in the HORROR genre that CAN be thoroughly enjoyed with a CLEAR mental state!! lol

And again, watch SPOILER-FREE for max effect!

I second this.
