I've seen a lot of people new to DOA ask what the throw break input window is. In DOA3 you have a 16 frame window to input a neutral throw break, and I'm assuming it has remained the same for future games.
Little bit of trivia (if you can even call it that), most throw break animations will happen on the 17th frame of the throw animation, but because each break animation is unique, some of them start a little later. This is most noticable on Ayane (frame 26), Bass (frame 25), Gen Fu (frame 28), Leifang (frame 23), Tina (frame 25) and Zack (frame 28).
