Hey guys, YinCrescent bringing you a short not so 'Dead or Alive' related topic but this post can apply to pretty much any game. If you don't know about me I'll give you a short intro (and if you dont care well, you can just skip to the next paragraph.) Anyway I'm Yin, an Online Warrior at least until I gain all the necessary things in life such as a license and car; I don't see that happening anytime soon, But that's a story for another time. I'm on Playstation Network, you might have ran across me, seen some of my youtube video or even have seen some of my gratuitous artistic ability but we're not here to talk about that are we? Let's begin...

No one likes waiting this day in age. We also don't like Detours, Traffic or anything that can possibly can cause a delay. But there's one thing we despise about gaming online... Lag and bad Netcodes. (Especially Lag... Don't even get me started on how much GP [grade points] we lose from matches that shouldn't even have began in the first place.) It's understandable that Netcodes and Online can't be 110% flawless online. That's something beyond our control, but could they have hired some kinda space agency like NASA to...um. Oh I dunno make a server for us? (I mean for Christ sake they have probes they can connect to as far as Pluto. Where's Pluto again?) Anyway, moving on.

With Lag comes the obscenely toxic parts of our community. The "Jerks". No matter what game we are playing there is always that slight chance we're going to meet some asshole jerk online. Honestly I've dealt with this a lot on friggin' Soul Calibur because apparently when I ask to play your main, There's "no need to use a main." Somehow the combination of Being Home, online, behind a TV screen makes someone feel obligated to act all high and mighty because of how supposedly good they are, and then brag about how good they are...Online. I'll just let that sink in.
again something beyond our control but none the less this pretty much sums up our online gaming experiences as a whole.

So what's your take on this? anything you agree or disagree with?

I openly admit to being a complete asshole when I have to deal with someones shitty connection with the combination of an already garbage netcode. If you're somebody I know I'll cope, but should you happen to be some random the gloves come off and the rage oozes out.

However, from what I can gather you're more so pointing out those who are outright pompous from the start.

Well, it's conditional. Normally I agree with you, but ther are some circumstances: If you're lagging to the point where luck and not player skill determines the outcome of the fight, I have no inclination to do what you say, as my objective is to knock out out ASAP and fight someone with a better connection (or just wait out the match and leave the lobby). Sometimes you get jerkoffs who think if they beat your main in extreme lag, they "beat you," which is fucking stupid. If you're a jerk, if you lag and if you're a noob, I don't owe you anything, and you don't have my respect. Okay, long(ish) story but it's related, I promise.

Yesterday, I was playing in a lobby with a winstreak. Then a guy joins in, picks Rachel, lags up a shitstorm. I tell him VERY NICELY that he's lagging and if he wouldn't mind leaving the lobby (I won). He didn't. He comes back around, loses miserably, again, and his lag is just getting worse and worse. Then, he says in the chat "I can beat you with your main. All you have to do is simple combos." I'm like: bullshit. You basically just said that I have no skill because my main is braindead (after he was being Rachel, of all people), even after I just whopped him with several Izunas, a guaranteed SDS into CB, an almost max-damage PL combo, etc. Anyway, he picks Ryu next time, we do a mirror, I wipe the floor with his laggy ass (he just spammed teleports like a typical scrubbybusa). Then he goes back in the chat and KEEPS SAYING HE CAN BEAT ME IN A MIRROR and talking all this trash. Apparently going full retard is his hobby. So he comes back up, and picks Ryu again. Keep in mind, he's still lagging. And this is where I guess you could say I was a jerk like you say people are in your post (I wasn't). I picked random. Because I have no respect for this ass-clown and his fucking lag and shit attitude. I'm not a great player. I'm a very mediocre player. But even with that in mind, this sniveling, arrogant shit was not worthy of my main (I'm not high and mighty, even if out of context that makes it sound like I am). I wanted him to know that I didn't take his bitch-ass seriously. Anyway, I got Akira (who I suck balls with) and decimated his ass, again (no homo). I then left the lobby because the slideshow was getting on my nerves.
