Then why are you doing it online where attacks have frame advantage on block instead of being unsafe and you can't react to hardly anything? Seems counterproductive to me... *shrug*
If I jab and you counter, I lose what... 40% on smallest? How is that a mistake?
And that not every character can do that amount of damage as well.
I was pretty much going by what Gruff said. I was just pointing out the point of it can be to get used to making less mistakes as possible.
I could only figure out how to get to that setting offline so all I could fight was the AI so...yeah fighting input reading AI not fun.
Because some of us (mainly referring to myself) have no other way to do it with others.

because a lot of people suck defense and trying to low countering out of stun is a death sentence.

played in a room on under smallest a few days ago against some of the people here and have to say it definitely benefits the shit out of eliot. it makes people think twice before randomly mid/high punch countering him when i stun them since 9/10 times im baiting for a 236h+p hi counter launcher throw and finish em off with my bnb juggle that takes over 45% health without wall or dangerzones.landing just 2 of these ends the round.
his parry into 9kk into bnb juggle is far more rewarding now on smallest since it does so much more damage while bypassing guessing between mid punch/kick on neutral. lastly his mid holds that leave opponents back turned actually do a decent enough damage on their own while giving him an opportunity for more damage. this made me realize just how much better and rewarding some characters are with lower lifebar settings

Even on Small you can take 75%+ on a CB without a wall. With a damaging wall and with certain characters, you can kill them. That's pretty insane. I still think the new Normal is better for this game simply because of the CB mechanic and the new mechanics for when you break something with your face and can get re-launched.

Not to sound cocky or even more important rude as that's not my intention but it's almost as if you forgot who your talking to in reference to SC5. At high level play things don't fly as cut and dry as you make it. While Asta is one of the most braindead characters in SC5 the above is nothing more than a pipe dream.
Stop using SC5 comparisons for your argument because the ones you conjure up are silly.

If you're asking for something along the lines of respect for SCV accomplishments, I don't have much to spare for anyone I'm afraid. I didn't even play the game regularly after the patch and I was still shitting on the vast majority of their competitive community. It was pretty lackluster at best.
If you wanna dick around at AB or NEC though, I'd be game. I'm not going to practice or anything for it, but something tells me I won't need to.

You weren't shitting on anyone considered top other than TP who you managed to put in losers at that one MLG. He also didn't play SC5 over its lifespan other than that and FR. He was never seen at a tournament for it again cause he didn't play.
I no longer play SC5 and practice or no practice you wouldn't do damage against the top. No offense. You have to prove it before your claim has any value. I'll be at NEC for DOA5 as well as some other games though in all the normal settings glory.

Yes i'm gonna run away from you in SC5 because a well known SC5 player like myself doesn't need to condone your idiocy.
However I will gladly participate in that DOA5 tourney as well as MM you in your own game. Just remember who your claiming your going to rape in DOA5 (I think the win you finally got after 10 years or so is going to your head). My objective is to support your game (I even brought a few SC5 players along for the ride) and I liked Mamba and RyuJin supporting our game.
I will gladly take any challenge of tinkering with your temp status in DOA5.
