Probably not buying.

Infinites, crappy clothing, horrible netcode. These are what I discerned so far. I'm going to wait and watch but tbh I have Soul Calibur. Sorry, DoA5.
I'll have to see if it's worth the money.

Well, unless you're or the people you are playing are downloading other stuff on the internet while you're trying to play online then the netcode is fine. Infanites will most likely get patched out and if cloths are a deal breaker.....well oh well.

Gameplay-wise, you're probably missing out on the best DOA5 so far.

But yea, the game has a lot of issues that you can tell came from a rushed effort. Fortunately they are all things that can be fixed via patch.

If all those thing really do turn you off that much, then just wait it out. The core of the game is there.

I'll just wait and see.
Actually i am in total agreement with you on the clothes thing, the DOA fashions are garbo! They need to take a lesson from Tekken character designers; Tekken peeps are sporting some cool ass swag, and that's without customization.

It's an arguable thing whether the appearance of your character matters or not.
To me it does.
DoA1 had the BEST wardrobe with a dozen outfits per character, until Soul Calibur started reigning supreme with its customisation. I can't see why DoA5 wouldn't follow that path.

If you haven't made up your mind yet then I suggest you rent or borrow or find some place in your area where you can try the game out..but if you're convinced that the game isn't worth your time then what are you still doing here?

I have the game and I'm enjoying it. I'm sure most of the people on this site are enjoying the game as well.
Trying to convince you to get the game would only be a waste of our time..so don't waste your time by telling us how much you dislike it.

Another flaw I notice about DOA5 is when the cpu can grab you anytime they want, I don't if its a bug or what but its really pissing me off.
Edit: you can't even tell when the cpu is going to grab you!

Do we really need a complaint thread like this? For one there have been far more glitches found in other fighting games given the same time frame from official release date. Not bad at all for a fighting game that never had an arcade release and its common sense there will be other glitches found because that goes for most games in general.

Netcode isnt that great but id still rather play this game then SCV. If your going to look for negative things chances are your going to find them and id say this topic with your responses are borderline trolling. Instead of posting this topic here you shouldve just put your complaints up on your facebook page.

SCV had/has more infinites than DOA 5.

Also had glitchy fuzzy guarding and step guarding before the patch.

Just saying, if you wanna throw down and be all righteous about voting with your wallet on a public forum, at least try not to undermine your own argument by mentioning Soul Calibur. Love it as I may, that game has hella problems.

Obviously I was looking for feedback with this thread, presenting my own argument.
Those among you who were reasonable: thank you.
