Quick question about download games from marketplace.

Lets say I still have all the save data for a game from when I had the actual disc. If I traded in that game, but suddenly decided I want to download that game from marketplace, will all my save data still work for that game? Thinking of downloading Bayonetta, but I already beat it, and have everything unlocked. Will everything still be there, if I download from Marketplace?

There's a separate save data file from the disc that can be stored into a USB for transferring, and a digital version is probably no different than a disc based game. Going from that, I think everything will still be intact.

Yeah, everything should be fine. I've never downloaded a retail game, but like Ghosty-J said, the save data is separate from the game's disc/download file.

I have downloaded a few games and there is no difference at all. Think of it more like installing a retail disc that you don't have to use later. More or less the same concept.
