Resident Evil: Revelations 2

After all the gameplay videos, I'm pretty excited. Admittedly though, I'm one of those people who have literally liked every resident evil released, including 6 which 90% of the RE fans hated. I however, did not like RE3. The only RE I've played and just didn't get attached to.

I find the Moira thing slightly bizarre though, so she can't die? or is that only in single player? what if you switch to her while in single player, can you not die? what if you're playing multiplayer? can your partner die? or can she die- it's just her death doesn't result in the game over screen? confusing!

Ive only liked the co op ones so far. Outbreak, operation raccoon city were my favorites, and I played 5 and 6 with a friend. Was gonna get this until it was announced it won't have co op online
Moira probably only gets incapacitated. Apparently her flashlight functioned like Alan Wake to stun/weaken enemies.

I know there's no real difference, but what character do you use? I've taken a liking to Lady Hunk, and wanna get fbc Jessica. I also kinda like Keith and Quint for the melee damage.

Maybe its like if she dies the game will still go on? Like say if the afflicted smack the shit out of her and killed her Claire will ditch her ass. But then again how will that work in co-op? Plus shes "Not A Fan Of Firearms" so wont the the Moira player be bored just using a crowbar? Well besides that she sounds really nice (VoiceActor).

Maybe. I have a feeling she can get incapacitated and Claire can revive her, but Moira can't revive Claire which is why it's her job to keep an eye on Claire's health?

As for being bored, depends how you look at it. I personally think it's a smarter idea to make Moira lead since she's the light, so it means things would be jumping out at her making the Moira player more on edge since she can't actually defend herself as well as Claire. It would make things more interesting than just tailing behind Claire doing nothing but directing the flashlight. I mean, she also has to keep an eye on surroundings since the flashlight system is similar to fatal frame 4, you can't see items unless revealed with the flashlight.

Just watched that TGS video, really like the atmosphere so far, looks kinda bloodied and fleshy like Silent Hill 3. Can't wait to see more.
