"Same region" does not include Canada/US online

Some of you may have already figured this out, but if someone from the US chooses "same" as their region, they won't be able to see Canadian games, and vice versa for Canadian players.

Anyone playing in US or Canada may want to always choose "nearby" as their region to find more games. I know I was having trouble finding a lot of games in DOA 5 online (I'm Canadian) when I kept picking "same" region, thinking it would be north america, but it's not.

So yeah, if you want to find more games and you live in the US or Canada, pick Nearby instead of Same region.

Maybe once the world stops blowing money on was and other stupid stuff, maybe then we can lay fiber optics to every home and have perfect connection anywhere.

It it possible and the money could be there. We spend more on military all the time. Its possible.

What's the difference between Any and Nearby? Does Nearby include Same in it?

All I know about this region thing is based on your Xbox "locale" settings. I had mine as Argentina (where I live), so when choosing same or nearby was getting nothing. Not a single match. It's no surprise since there is barely any scene of DOA in Latin America. Anyway, I changed my settings to USA and suddenly I find people when I choose "same".

So nearby is potentially bigger than same? I actually had playable matches with <all> and no bars today but I have a crazy hard time finding a fight or joining a lobby normaly

I always choose "any" and still sometimes get the same people.
