I think it's mainly because she's one of the newer females. She's an awesome character. As an Akira player in VF I'll definitely give her a fair shake this time around. Couldn't put down Hitomi and Christie long enough in 4 to really put time into her. Also in her defense, the same lack of popularity can be said for Lisa to an extent.

I would like to argue your point, but don't see me winning that one. I will say that not every character has to be high tier to be liked or popular though. I want to see what Kayane can do with Kokoro if she decides to stick with her

It's just me or the game is a little slower in the retailer build?.

I could be wrong but I think it's just the player. Most fighters seem a little lower slower as the player level decreases and faster as it increases. Virtua Fighter is a prime example of this

Ok. That vid was hard to watch, BUT something seriously caught my eye in a positive way. Unless there was editing to eliminate the load screen after choosing a stage, that is some serious Nintendo cartridge speed loading. Anyone over 25 should be familiar with the times before loading screens. DOA has always loaded quickly but i'd forgotten just how fast it could be. I'm gonna be spoiled

The game loads the characters as you select them, and the stage as you select it. Helps cut down load times dramatically.

Not sure if Kayane is a member here but she participated in the E3 and Hot Imports Nights tournaments for DoA5, and gave it high praise. Also not sure if Mystik is a member here, but she seems to be a fan of the game as well. She commentated the above mentioned tournaments and participated in one a few weeks back.

Just came across this. It's a 3-in-1. New outfit for Hayabusa, Kasumi's blue, suspected kimono, outifit from Fighter Chronicles 2 confirmed to be playable and the Lab stage is shown!
