Some help with a few things

This post is more than anything directed at CyberEvil who I know finished even NG3 vanilla on MN but anyone who wants to join is more than welcome.

1) How do I get to the challenge skull in Ayane - Day 2¿
2) Are shurikens good for anything... in the entire series¿ lol
3) What are the best moves for Kasu¿ What do you recommend doing with her against larger opponents like the purple fiends from NG2¿
4) Any good way to quickly build karma for the costumes¿ I don't mind going for Chapter challenge several times but still. Seems like it'll get difficult.
5) Is it worth playing the Trials with the U.Ninja or shoud I just use Busa and the girls¿

1) For that one you need to wallrun from the tall room a bit after you first see the skull. It's a circular room. Look up when you get to the second level and you'll notice spots you can wall run and a bar you can swing from. If you have trouble check out some YT videos on it.

2) Shuriken are used primarily to extend combos with enemies that are a bit too far away, interrupt projectile enemies before they can fire, or to cancel your own strings. This would be a slightly long one so I'll leave it there and clarify if necessary. They are useful but not as weapons.

3) Kasumi needs her weapon level ups and some skills before she's really useful. Her windmill shuriken (the kunai charge skill) is actually very useful when combined with a trick to use it instantly, her ukifune skill works on all humanoid enemies in the game besides the Regent of the Mask, and her UT is broken. She has a bunch of moves with i-frames, too. Just mess with her in Shadows of the World training until you get her strings down. She has trouble with some bosses, though.

4) Day 2 - Ayane and just Steel on Bone chain the whole way through. Get up to a 3.0 with your Bloody Rage multiplier and then use a UT for maximum karma. Rinse and repeat. Should only take about 8-9 minutes once you get it down and you'll be raking in karma every time.

5) Depends on if you want all of the achievements. That's really it.

Any combo video will show you shuriken canceling but you can do it yourself. Start doing a string and then hit 'B' in the middle. You'll cancel the recovery frames of the animation and toss a shuriken and be able to immediately attack again. Compare that to trying the same thing with a dodge and you'll see pretty quickly why you'd do it. I don't really watch other peoples' vids terribly often so I don't have specific links.
