strange chime during a fight...

It happens very often, during a fight, that I hear a strange chime after me, or my opponent, make a move....does it happens to someone else??and, if does, what it means??thanks in advance!!

If you have throwdown set to on that may be the cause. It dings whenever a nearby opponent is found.

It's probably the throwdown notification you're hearing, or if you're playing Survival picking up the items also make certain sounds.

THANKS BOTH OF YOU....unfortunately none of the assumption are my case...I have NO PS PLUS (so I can't set ON throwdown) neither picking up items during Survival mode....the strange thing is that both mine and the other fighter make that noise very often...

What are the fighters exactly doing to cause it? Like what move is being done?

I mostly use Ayane but it looks like no one specific character or move, but many "chained" combo will produce that sound...I'll soon get a capture of the fight and post it on my youtube channel, so you can hear the sound I'm talking about...thanks in advance!

I think I know what you mean.

Kasumi's taunt, for example, has chime sound. Her teleportation also have chiming sound.

I'm not sure about Ayane.

I do hear something like cat's bell kind of chime.

It's just a sound effect that's applied on Ayane's costumes maybe??

Well that is what's consistent around those times: Ayane being hit and screaming.

I'm pretty sure it is the high-pitched ''uehh'' noise from Ayane you're hearing.

I see....in fact, with other characters, can't hear that disturbing noise....
