I learned about this is sociology class. He had us experiment & ask people of their signature look or subculture. So I thought I would try it here. Sub culture is what you basically stand for as far as personality & background. It also gives people a general idea of your style & what type of music you like, how you like to dress, & hopefully overall give everybody a good vibe as to who you are.

Mine is the hip hop background. That means everything is hip hop. The hip hop music (rap. lyrical rap) (Sometimes I step outside of rap music with pop & r&b & instrumentals depending on how good it sounds), the regular t's (tshirts), loose fitted jeans, Fitted hats, laced up jordans/nikes (shoes) or whatever. No skinny jeans lol.

Don't say you don't have 1. Everybody does. lol

My subculture is all around hip hop. Always has been and always will be. I wanted to have a more "gamer" feel to my appearance, but nothing to help with that was around when I was growing up. Which meant I had to deal with generic clothing, baggy jeans, and shirts that would more often than not have rappers printed on them (like Tupac for instance) or other hip hop related stuff <.< Crazy enough my dialect, personality, and mannerisms are a complete 180 from my appearance. Over the years, I'm totally convinced that I am a "vanilla Oreo" :U

As far as hip hop music goes, I'm staying old school and underground. The mainstream can kiss my grits.

On the mainstream, as long as they can actually flow, like T.I. Lil Boosie, Juelz Santana, Young Jeezy Rick Ross, Lil Wayne Kanye, Eminem etc, I listen to it, but rap ain't the same. Pretty much dudes try to autotune & expect people to like it & pick up their album & get paid from it. But you don't get no points for that lol. Not with me you don't. One hit wonders or 1 dimensional rappers basically in this general.

Mine is "I don't give a shit."

I wear t-shirts, generally plain black, cargo pants or shorts depending on the weather and if I'm working or not, and listen to whatever the hell I want to listen to. That's about as specific as I get since my tastes in all things are of a wide range.

I listen to everything and wear what feels comfortable.

On an average week I'll go from baggy sweat pants, t shirts and boots . . .

To cargo shorts, polo shirt and sandles. . .

To Jeans, boots and a dress shirts. . .

Erm...I was listening to Hendrix at the Filmore East on my way to work...I'm a librarian so I guess I look formal...I have a very colorful Nigerian shirt a friend gave me. Maybe I should wear it to work, see what happens.
